DFS CFL DraftKings Lineup Advice 6/20/19
I had a mediocre first week of CFL DFS. One of my biggest mistakes was overlooking systems in favor of players. Prime example, Trevor Harris was the quarterback of the week putting up 40.08 fantasy points for Edmonton. Mike Reilly, Edmonton’s former quarterback, was ok for British Columbia coming in with 19.96 fantasy points. I was high on Reilly and almost ignored Harris in Week 1, I won’t make a similar mistake again. Now let’s make some picks.

Quarterbacks
Trevor Harris (Edmonton) $10,500 vs. B.C.
Speaking of. Trevor Harris was outstanding in Week 1 for Edmonton. This should not come as a surprise as he did some nice things for Ottawa over the past few years. I expect a shootout against Mike Reilly and B.C., and will gladly take Harris’s price reduction here.
Others to consider:
Dominique Davis $8,500 versus Saskatchewan (a little nervous about this as the Roughriders really shut down Masoli in Week 1, but he is cheap), Cody Fajardo $7,300 @ Ottawa (potential time share but is also cheap), Mike Reilly $11,000 @ Edmonton

S.J. Green SB (Toronto) $7,500 vs. Hamilton
Full disclaimer there is some bias attached to this pick. Both S.J. Green and I have ties to the University of South Florida. That being said S.J. Green had 83 receptions for 1095 yards and 4 touchdowns last year and 104 receptions the year before. While it remains to be seen what Toronto’s offense looks like this year, at 7,500 Green is a risk I plan on taking.

CJ Gable RB $8,200 versus B.C. (coming off a massive Week 1 game, top running back on the board), Sean Thomas-Erlington RB $5,400 @ Toronto (value), Bryan Burnham WR $8,700 @ Edmonton
Defense/Special Teams
Edmonton Eskimos $4,700 vs. B.C.
Defenses are tough to project in the CFL, because its not a defensive league. Edmonton is the pick here because I think both Edmonton and B.C. are going to let it fly, which naturally increases the probability of interceptions, and the vaunted pick 6. Ottawa is another interesting option here.
Others to Consider:
Ottawa Redblacks $4,500 vs. Saskatchewan, Hamilton $4,900 @ Toronto
