DFS MLB DraftKings Lineup Advice for 4/14/21
What’s up GF2 Fans! I’m back this week with some MLB DraftKings advice for you guys! Wednesday’s slate will consist of a solid 7-games packed with nice matchups to choose from. In this article, I’ll be covering some of my favorite pitching options along with a few stacks to work into your lineups. So, without further ado, here’s what I’m feeling for this slate!
Pitchers
Lance McCullers Jr. (HOU), $9,900 vs. DET
I feel like this slate is pretty cut and dry with the pitching options. We’re going to want to pick the top salaried guys on Wednesday night, starting with McCullers. In two starts this season, McCullers has pitched for a 1.80 ERA and a 13:6 K/BB ratio over 10 innings. I don’t have a ton of confidence in many of these pitching options but he should be able to get it done versus Detroit for this slate!
Dustin May (LAD), $9,400 vs. COL
ay is easily the guy I’m most intrigued by for this slate of games. He’s coming off of a stellar opening start to his 2021 campaign, pitching six scoreless innings and striking out eight Oakland batters. In that game, May put up a super-solid 31.1 DK points in the win for the Dodgers. As you’ll see further in the article, I like these Los Angeles batters as well, so May should have some run support on Wednesday night.
Carlos Rodon (CWS), $8,900 vs. CLE
I do like Rodon quite a bit for this slate as long as his health holds up. Keep an eye on his status closer to game-time because he’s been dealing with what looks like a stomach bug. With a couple of extra days of rest, I’m expecting Rodon to be a solid start versus Cleveland. In his first start of the season, Rodon picked up a win, allowing two hits and striking out nine over five scoreless innings versus the Mariners.
Stacking Options
Dodgers hitters vs. Jon Gray
I’m going to say the Los Angeles batters are my favorite group to stack up for this slate. AJ Pollock, Max Muncy and Corey Seager have all posted solid stat lines against Gray in the past. Muncy is especially intriguing to me, hitting for a .267 batting average with two homers and six RBI’s versus Gray. Feel free to sprinkle any other Dodgers lefties you’re interested in as well.
Braves hitters vs. Nick Neidert

This could be an odd stack to use based on the amount of right-handed hitters Atlanta will put into their lineup for this slate. The thing is, Neidert just didn’t perform well in his first-ever big-league start. In that game, Neidert struggled to find the strike zone and just didn’t look overall comfortable on the mound. A guy like Freddie Freeman could torch him on Wednesday night. Righties such as Ronald Acuna and Starling Marte could see success as well!
Well, hopefully, this advice will help you guys reach DFS glory on Wednesday’s slate! With some solid pitching matchups and a few good stacking options, we should all be set for a good day. Thanks for reading!
