DFS MLB DraftKings Lineup Advice for 4/21/21

What’s up GF2 Fans! I’m back this week with some MLB DraftKings advice for you guys! Wednesday’s slate will consist of a solid 7-games to choose from. This isn’t what I’d call the best pitching slate which means the hitters should flourish! So without further ado, here’s my favorite options!

Pitchers

Aaron Civale (CLE), $10,100 vs. CWS

Civale is by far the best pitcher on this slate and his price tag shows it! So far this season, he’s won three games, pitching for a 2.18 ERA with 16 K’s and a 0.73 WHIP. Hopefully, CIvale’s lucky streak of stranded batters will continue for this slate. He’s surrendered a .146 BABIP with an 83% strand rate thus far in 2021.

Tyler Mahle (CIN), $9,500 vs. ARI

Like I said above, there aren’t a ton of pitching options to choose from for this slate so paying up is the way to go. I’m hoping on Wednesday evening we see Mahle pitch past the fifth inning versus Arizona. That is a feat he has yet to accomplish this season. So far this year, Mahle has averaged a nice 21.7 FPPG and has recorded 22 K’s. Through three starts, he has a 1.93 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP across 22 innings pitched.

David Peterson (NYM) $7,100 @CHC

If you’re feeling a little bit dangerous, play Peterson in this slate versus a super stale Cubs lineup. So far this year, Chicago has the worst team batting average in the league at .192! In his most recent start, Peterson had a quality start, giving up one run on two hits over six innings while striking out 10 batters.

Stacking Options

Reds Lefties vs. Merrill Kelly

Kelly has been atrocious to start his 2021 campaign for the Diamondbacks. So far this year, he holds an 8.44 ERA with just 10 K’s and only averaging a putrid 4.6 FPPG. Lock in hitters such as Joey Votto, Tyler Naquin and Jesse Winker into your lineups for this slate!

Mets Lefties vs. Zach Davies

Davies has struggled over his last two starts for Chicago. Through his first three starts, Davies has posted a 10.23 ERA and a 2.21 WHIP over just 11.1 innings. I know these Mets hitters haven’t been stellar to start the year but I do think they could get it going here. Guys such as Francisco Lindor, Dominic Smith and Michael Conforto could all be viable options on Wednesday.

Well, hopefully, this advice will help you guys reach DFS glory on Wednesday’s slate! With some solid pitching matchups and a few good stacking options, we should all be set for a good evening. Thanks for reading!
