DFS MLB DraftKings Lineup Advice for 7/7/21

On my last day of vacation and just got back from diner to realize the AC unit is not working. Needless to say, I am going to keep this short and sweet. Wednesday features a five-game early slate and a later nine-game slate.

Pitchers

Kyle Gibson (TEX) 9,100 v DET

Drew Smyly (ATL) 7,400 @ PIT

Yusei Kikuchi (SEA) 9,300 v NYY

Chris Paddack (SD) 8,700 v WAS

Starting with the early slate, Gibson and Smyly are the only two of interest. Gibson is typically consistent at putting up serviceable points, hoping he racks them up in this easier matchup. Smyly has pitched very well recently and also notched a seventeen-point performance versus the pirates earlier this year. Over Kikuchi’s last four starts, he is averaging right at twenty-five points. Paddack comes with high risk and high reward. If late lineup changes have to be made and the value bats are there I would not hesitate to switch from Paddack to Zack Wheeler.

Atlanta Braves

Freeman, Riley, Swanson, Acuna. Paring them with Smyly in an early lineup and feeling very confident about it.
