Top Plays
Kawhi Leonard (Toronto) $9,500 vs. L.A. Clippers
Aside from this slate being small, we see a bunch of tough defensive teams, notably Boston and Memphis. Which brings us to Kawhi Leonard versus the Clip Show. The Clippers and the run down Knicks are the worst defensive teams on the slate. Kawhi should smash here. Avery Bradley, Tobias Harris, doesn’t matter nobody the Clippers can throw out there short of Ron Harper circa 1994 can defend Kawhi. There is of course a risk that he sits, because A. Kawhi sits a lot, and B. I picked him as a top play, but if he goes, Kawhi is your guy.

Damyean Doston (New York) $4,000 vs. Memphis
You might as well just list the entire Knicks squad here, except Lance Thomas. Lance Thomas was supposed to start on the Friday Night slate, and was replaced too close to game time for me to get him out of my lineup. He did not play a single minute in Friday’s game, and likely kept me out of the money. Anyway, Damyean Dotson put up 30.5 fantasy points on the Friday Slate, and while he might not get that here, 4000 is a great value for him. Memphis is tough defensively but someone has to play for the Knicks, where’s Kenny “Sky” Walker when you need him?

Others to consider:
Ivan Rabb $3,700 @ New York, Kadeem Allen $3700 vs. Memphis, Joakim Noah (sorry,I can’t help it) $3500 @ New York
Neva Plays
Al Horford (Boston) $6,700 vs. Oklahoma City
In a slate this small, you can and should be open to playing pretty much everyone. I choose Al Horford as today’s Neva Play because Steven Adams is a beast defensively, and I see other Celtic players being better picks here. That being said, I wouldn’t blame you if you played Al Horford at 6700 here, although I think Marc Gasol at 7800, especially if Mike Conley, is out is a far better pick.
