DFS NBA DraftKings Lineup Advice 2/7/19
So as I am writing this, my DFS night has been ruined before it started. Apparently, Chicago decided to trade Bobby Portis, and I was exactly 1 minute too late to pull him out of my lineups. While I have placed before in Classic with someone getting 0 points, I stand no chance in Tiers (which I love by the way and finish in the money 5 times a week as a rule) and am in for a long boring night. Welp, on to tomorrow..

Damian Lillard (Portland) $8,600 vs. San Antonio
Does anyone play for the Spurs anymore? While it appears that both DeRozan and Aldridge are set to play in this game, it feels like the Spurs are the Spurs of the late 80’s sans David Robinson, and pre pre pre Tim Duncan. This makes for a great spot for Damian Lillard who is averaging 53.8 fantasy points per game against the Spurs this season and is priced under 9000.
Others to consider:
Kyrie Irving $9,500 vs. L.A. Lakers, Kawhi Leonard $9,400 @ Atlanta, Any other star player who does not get traded (avoid Mike Conley, Marc Gasol, you get the idea)

Jaren Jackson Jr. (Memphis) $6,000 @ Oklahoma City

This pick is contingent on Marc Gasol and Mike Conley getting traded which I full expect to happen. That being said, I was shocked to see Bobby Portis traded tonight as evident by my now shot lineups, so what do I really know? While he might be the human fouling machine, Jaren Jackson Jr. would have to be the go to guy for Grizz in the absence of Gasol and Conley and figures to have an insane usage rate. He’s a steal at 6000.
Others to consider
Shelvin Mack $4,400 @ OKC (see above), Corey Joseph $4,700 vs. L.A. Clippers, Bojan Bogdanovic $5,700 vs. L.A. Clippers
Neva Plays
LeBron James (L.A. Lakers) $10,400 @ Boston
How dare I Neva Play the King? I am asking myself this question as well. I am not sure about LeBron’s healthy whether he plays or not, and while he would be super motivated against Boston, I just do not see the minutes here being very high for the King. This is especially true if LeBron’s teammates decide to take the night off (see the other night versus the Pacers) and he gets pulled early to preserve his groin (that’s weird to type). Tread carefully here.
