DFS NBA DraftKings Lineup Advice 3/11/2021
The NBA returns from The All-Star Break with a massive 11 game slate on Thursday!
There is a bunch of news to keep an eye on a lot can change from the time of the article and tip-off so be aware and make sure you are looking at the starting lineups. Teams to watch are The Miami Heat, The 76ers, The Hawks (John Collins in particular).
Be sure to check out today’s NBA Spreadsheet with projections. You can find it here.
Guards
Top Play | Stephen Curry ($10,200)
Stephen Curry is coming off an incredible All-Star weekend in which he won The 3-point contest, and flashed all kinds of skills in the actual game itself. I’ll level with y’all I don’t like a lot of the high priced guards at the top, as it currently sits anyways, a lot can change once value opens up. I think this game will stay close and competitive, which is great news for Curry and The Warriors, if I have the salary it will be Curry for me up top.
Mid-tier | Tyrese Haliburton ($6,700)
Tyrese Haliburton is one of the best plays on the slate in my opinion. He is playing massive minutes, near 40 a game. He has also had a fantastic rookie season for The Kings. Fanduel did a great job pricing him up at $7,600, I probably don’t get to him over there, however on Draftkings where he is only $6,700 he is one of my favorite plays on the slate.
Value | Elfrid Payton ($5,600)
Elfrid Payton is coming off his best game of the season prior to The All-Star Break. Thibbs loves to run his starters a bunch and we all know that, but if I can get a guy playing 35 minutes and coming off his best game of the season I’ll be interested, even if the match-up isn’t great.
Fade |Lamelo Ball ($9,000)
Lamelo Ball is an absolute star in this league. The kid has been absolutely incredible and is slowly becoming one of my favorite players to watch, but on a massive slate like this there is no way I’m paying 9k for him.

Top Play | Tobias Harris ($8,100)
Tobias Harris is a player that I absolute hate when it comes to fantasy basketball, however when you take Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons off the floor (both already ruled out with Covid protocols) I’ll be forcing him in my line ups even tho it doesn’t excite me.
Mid-tier | Jerami Grant ($7,700)
With Blake Griffin now officially out of town, the spotlight in Detroit now belongs to Jerami Grant. The Pistons are a very bad basketball team, but the fact is the match-up is solid and someone is going to have to shoot the ball 20 times, my bet is that it’s Grant.
Value | Danilo Gallinari ($5,500)
Keep an eye on The Hawks starting line up. The Hawks are trying to trade John Collins, in fact it’s almost a sure thing that it will happpen. Danilo Gallinari is a great beneficiary to that. I love Gallo if he gets a start here , if not I’ll be less interested. The Hawks may try and protect Collins as a trade asset, and potential buyers may not want him playing until he is dealt.
Fade | Draymond Green ($7,300)
Draymond Green is way to expensive for me at this price, not much to say outside of that.

Saddiq Bey ($5,700)
Jayson Tatum ($9,400)
Centers
Top Play | Chris Boucher ($6,500)
The Raptors have already ruled out Fred Vanvleet and Pascal Siakim, Boucher is another solid player here with a massive minutes and usage bump.
Mid-tier | DeAndre Jordan ($5,700)
One last hurrah for DeAndre Jordan seems to be in play. Jordan has been playing heavier minutes as of late and Blake Griffin and Kevin Durant are both still out. DJ should be in line for an easy double-double.
Value | Maxi Kleber ($4,200)
Anytime I can find a value play like Kleber I have interest. I love getting a big man cheap here that is playing 30+ minutes and shooting threes. Porzingis has been known to sit on back to back from time to time if that is the case he’s a lock. I like him with or without Porzingis.
Fade | Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,000)
Karl-Anthony Towns is my favorite player in The NBA, as a Wolves fan he is special and really our only bright spot. KAT just isn’t putting up the numbers he once was and The Wolves have struggled to even stay in games. It hurt me to put KAT here, but I always want to be as honest as I can with my readers.
