DFS NBA DraftKings Lineup Advice 3/15/19

In the why do I not listen to myself category, I didn’t play Russell Westbrook in Classic last night, even though I listed him as a Top Play. I paid for it by finishing out of the money. A valuable lesson for us all, nobody is really an expert when it comes to DFS as it is extremely variable. Sometimes, you just need to trust your instincts. With that, on to Friday’s picks.

Bradley Beal (Washington) $9,500 vs. Charlotte

I had a hard time here as there are so many great picks on this slate. James Harden against Phoenix is excellent, as is the Process versus the Kings. I chose Bradley Beal as my Top Play because he is averaging 50.5 fantasy points per game against the Hornets, and is playing at an incredibly high level right now. You really can’t go wrong, Harden, Embiid, Beal, Lillard, Kemba are all in great spots in this slate and can anchor your lineup.

Others to consider:

James Harden $11,000 versus Phoenix, Joel Embiid $9,900 versus Sacramento, Damian Lillard $9,000 @ New Orleans

Kris Dunn (Chicago) $5,400 @ L.A. Clippers

The hope with this pick is that Zach LaVine does not play. Dunn put up 43.25 fantasy points against the Lakers in LaVine’s absence and could do the same against the Clippers in the now familiar Staples Center. I like Dunn to reach value even if LaVine plays, but he really stands out should LaVine sit again.

LeBron James (L.A. Lakers) $10,300 @ Detroit

This is about a cheap as King James gets, and since it’s LeBron the possibility always exists that he is going to have a monster game and blow up the slate. My concern here is not that the matchup against Detroit is a tough one (it is) but that LeBron is going to play 25 to 30 minutes regardless of outcome. If you are up the risk, go for it, I will take someone else who is more of a sure thing usage wise.
