DFS NBA DraftKings Lineup Advice 3/20/19
Spring is upon us and that means one thing, the NBA season is drawing to a close. This part of the year is always interesting as there tend to be a lot of great bargains to be had as many of the stars (see Giannis and LeBron on the Tuesday slate) begin to sit. If you pay attention and do it right you might get some of your highest scores of the season. Anyway, let’s make some picks.

Top Plays
Bradley Beal (Washington) $9,400 @ Chicago
Bradley Beal had been on fire until the dud he put up against the Jazz on Monday Night. The great news for Beal is that he gets a great matchup against the Bulls. While Beal is averaging only 50.9 fantasy points per game against the Bulls this season, he is in a great spot here to go beyond that. The Wizards are not quite good enough to totally demolish Chicago, so this should be a close game and Beal’s usage should be rather high.

Luka Doncic $8,900 @ Portland, Nikola Vucevic $9,500 versus New Orleans, Donovan Mitchell $7,800 @ New York

Ricky Rubio (Utah) $4,900 @ New York
For today’s Value Play, I really wanted to reach and go out on a limb. I was dipping into the 3,000K range, but couldn’t find anyone. Ricky Rubio at $4,900 is a great value against an absolutely awful Knicks team. While the blowout potential exists which could limit Rubio’s minutes, Rubio should be able to get to at least 24 fantasy points which is what he needs to reach value. On the 16th against the Nets, Rubio shot 2-13 from the field and still managed 29.5 fantasy points, I see that being his floor here.

Others to consider:
Fred VanVleet $4,700 @ Oklahoma City, Rodney Hood $4,000 versus Dallas, Gerald Green $3,300 @ Memphis
Neva Plays
James Harden (Houston) $11,300 @ Memphis
The Beard is never technically a Neva Play because there is always the potential for a huge game. He also happens to be averaging 76.4 fantasy points per game against the Grizz this season so on paper this is a really dumb Neva Play. Hear me out though. Harden and the Rockets are playing Atlanta on the 19th, which is about as good a spot for him as is humanely possible. Also, the Hawks play decent enough at home that the game should be somewhat close so Harden might have to exert himself a bit. The second night of a back to back is a time for Harden to not play quite as well. Ok, I’m reaching here. There just happen to be plays I like better, I might regret that….
