Guards

Top PlayDamian Lillard $10,000 BKN @ POR

James Harden $11,000 (neck) is the no brainer play tomorrow if he goes but I wanted to write up a more contrarian play. A flat $10,000 for Damian Lillard is the cheapest he’s been in a long time and he’s drawing a fantastic matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets are 25th in defensive rating but score the most points per game in the league, a perfect recipe for Lillard to have one of those 50 point 10 assist type of nights. I love the price tag and the matchup for Dame time so I’ll be targeting a good amount of him in my GPP lineups tomorrow.

Mid-tierDennis Schroder $6,600 LAL @ NO

With the unfortunate injury to King James (high ankle sprain) and Anthony Davis (calf) continuing to proceed with caution the Lakers are going to be a team to ride in DFS. Dennis Schroder will be taking over as the primary ball handler until James returns which will give him an uptick in production. The Pelicans are 28th in defensive rating, 25th in points allowed and give up a ton of 3’s ranking 30th in 3 pointers allowed. In a 1 game sample size without LeBron, Schroder got the clear usage bump and if this game stays competitive he should be able to give is a good return on our investment.

Value | Jordan Poole $5,600 PHI @ GS

Jordan Poole has been playing lights out! His price tag is rising due to his recent play but I still think there’s enough value left to be squeezed out with Stephen Curry (tail bone) sitting out another game. He doesn’t get the best matchup tomorrow going up against a Philly team who plays good defense but i’m still willing to take my shots. Poole is seeing a ton of minutes and plenty of touches with no Curry so bad matchup or not he will have plenty of opportunities to pay off $5,600,

Fade | Russell Westbrook $10,800 WAS @ NY

I know, I know, how do you fade a guy who just recorded his third consecutive triple-double and put up two 80 point fantasy games? Don’t get me wrong I won’t have 0% Russell Westbrook but initially I plan on coming in under the field due to his price tag and the slow paced, good defensive team in the New York Knicks. I also like James Harden’s $11,000 (if he plays-neck) matchup much better and he’s only $200 more. In DFS you have to take some uncomfortable stands and for now fading Westbrook is going to be one of those instances, hopefully it doesn’t come back to bite me in the you know what.

  2. Ben Simmons $8,800 PHI @ GS
  3. Jamal Murray $7,100 DEN @ ORL

Forwards

Top PlayZion Williamson $8,700 LAL @ NO

Zion has been playing excellent this year and I have a lot of interest in him tomorrow going up against a Lakers team who will be without both of their superstars. He’s averaging 40.1 FPPG and 1.2 FPTS/MIN on the year and 32.8 minutes. I think Zopn goes for 50 FPTS in this one.

Mid-tierRobert Covington $5,700 BKN @ POR

This is going to be the game everyone should be stacking tomorrow night so getting the pieces right will be essential to having the optimal lineup. Covington hasn’t been great but I think going up against the Nets who don’t play any defense and give up a good amount of offensive boards he could have a double-double at low ownership.

Value | Joe Harris $5,400 BKN @ POR

Harris will see his usual 30 mins tomorrow but also should get an uptick in touches with Kyrie Irving $9,800 (personal) out and Durant still out as well. Joe Harris is a sharp shooter and he catch fire at any time, at just $5,400 he’s a low risk high reward type of play in what should be a fast paced high-scoring affair.

Fade | Kyle Kuzma $6,800 LAL @ NO

I think a lot of people will roster Kuzma on tomorrow’s slate with the absence of their superstars but I’m not willing to pay almost $7,000 for him. He’s averaging under a point per minute this year and he’s been quiet the last 4 games or so. I think Kuzma is an easy fade tomorrow with his price tag where it is and recent play. I would much rather pay $200 less for a guy like Andrew Wiggins.

Others I Like

  1. Andrew Wiggins $6,600 PHI @ GS
  2. Will Barton $5,800 DEN A ORL
  3. Danny Green $4,900 PHI @ GS

Centers

Top PlayJulius Randle $9,900 WAS @ NY

I have targeted Washington all year due to their inability to play any defense whatsoever, especially against big men. Randle has been absolutely fantastic this year, averaging 47.3 FPPG and 1.3 FPTS /MIN. Most people won’t want to play Randle at $9,900 with the other pay up options on the slate but I’m going to take a shot on him. Randle should feast against the 27th ranked defense in the league who give up a ton of boards and can’t stop anyone in the paint.

Mid-tierBam Adebayo $8,100 PHO @ MIA

I think $8,100 is too cheap for Bam who is pretty much a lock to give you 40 fantasy points every time he steps on the court and is a walking double-double. Going up against Deandre Ayton ($5,900) doesn’t give me any hesitation either, Bam should be on his way to another 40 or 50 point night. He’s kind of in no mans land to as far as plays go, I think people will either pay up or pay down and Bam will kind of get lost in the middle. Really like him tomorrow especially because I think he will be low owned.

Value | Nicolas Claxton $3,900 BKN @ POR

Claxton has been killing it as a point per dollar play and he’s a cheap way to get a part of what should be the highest owned game on the slate. He’s definitely a highly volatile play but at just $3,900 i’m willing to take my chances.

Fade | Rui Hachimura $6,000 WAS @ NY

I can’t pay this much for Rui, it’s as simple as that. Now he gets to go up against a good defensive unit like the Knicks, I have no interest in Hachimura tomorrow when I can get Kanter for $400 more or Harrel for $800 more, so many other guys I would rather play.

Others I Like

  1. Nikola Jokic $10,700 DEN @ ORL
  2. Montrezl Harrell $6,800 LAL @ NO
  3. Alex Len $3,900 WAS @ NY
