DFS NBA DraftKings Lineup Advice 3/28/19

So tomorrow is Baseball’s Opening Day. I bring this up, because I think people will be less focused on NBA DFS (I probably will be) and it might be an opportunity to have a nice night. Anyway, finished in the top 150 of a massive Tiers GPP last night, finally. I had been awful recently. Hope to continue that success tonight. Now, let’s make some picks.

Top Plays

LaMarcus Aldridge (San Antonio) $8,100 vs. Cleveland

I am trying to be a little more outside of the box with my picks. There are obvious higher priced stars (see below) that you can’t argue against. That being said, Cleveland essentially has nobody in the front court and the Spurs are playing really well as of late. The blowout potential is of some concern here, but I really like Aldridge in this spot. It shouldn’t be hard for him to reach value or more here.

James Harden $11,100 versus Denver, Joel Embiid $10,400 versus Brooklyn, Nikola Jokic $9,700 @ Houston

Derrick White (San Antonio) $5,200 vs. Cleveland

Apparently I’m on a Spurs kick here. Derrick White went 0 for 10 from the field against the Hornets the other night and still managed 27.25 fantasy points. The Cavs are a good team to target for point guards and I see White having a really solid game here.

Others to consider: 

Derrick Jones Jr. $3,900 versus Dallas, Christian Wood $4,100 versus Sacramento, Luke Kennard $3,900 versus Orlando

Neva Plays

Blake Griffin (Detroit) $7,900 vs. Orlando

This is not a terrible pick, I just think you can do better, especially with LaMarcus Aldridge being only $200 more on DK. Blake is only putting up 35 fantasy points a game against the Magic this season and while he certainly could blow up here, I think there are better values in and around the same spot.
