DFS NBA DraftKings Showdown 5/14/19 (Blazers @ Warriors)

Captain Players I will be using in my Captain Slot
Nothing But Net Top-tier players I like
Dunk Mid-tier player that will outperform their salary
Half-Court Shot Values that allow me to pay up elsewhere
Blocked Shot Players I’m avoiding

Nothing But Net | Steph Curry (GS) $10,400

Curry and Dame are 1A and 1B in this game for my top plays. Curry typically plays better at home and these two players, Dame and Curry, always seem to play their best against one another. Curry has the highest overall usage and averages the most DK points per minutes when Kevin Durant is not on the floor.

Nothing But Net | Damian Lillard (POR) $10,800

I’ve come to call Lillard, the Warriors Killer. He has played some of his best games against the Warriors in his career, and he averages nearly 48 DK points against the Warriors over the last two seasons. He hasn’t had that signature “Warriors Killer” game this season, but I would expect one in this series. Maybe it’s tonight?

Dunk | C.J. McCollum (POR) $9,600

Let me sum up McCollum in a meme…

DFS NBA DraftKings Showdown 5/14/19

Half-Court Shot | Kevin Looney (GS) $3,600

Looney’s minutes went up slightly as the Rockets series progressed, but more importantly, his production increased dramatically when Kevin Durant was out. His cheap price allows you to pay for the studs.

Half-Court Shot | Evan Turner (POR) $3,000

If Rodney Hood is ruled out, Turner is the likely beneficiary. At $3,000, he is an even better value then Looney, but make sure Hood is out or he won’t play much.

Blocked Shot | Klay Thompson (GS) $8,400

If Thompson isn’t scoring points, then he isn’t giving you fantasy production. He doesn’t do much beyond score points, he won’t give you many assists or rebounds. Blazers we Top 10 in defending the “Shooting Wing” this season (per Rotogrinders.com).

Captain Spot Options: Enes Kanter $6,600, Evan Turner $4,500

I always try to go cheap at Captain to save money so I can cram in more studs. These are two players I’m looking at that give me a ton of flexibility (assuming Rodney Hood is out). Playing Evan Turner at Captain gives you a ton of flexibility.
