Drafters NFL Advice Week 5
Each week I am going to outline my plan geared toward Drafters.com’s weekly best-ball contest. This information can also be used at other sites that run similar contests but for me personally, I play at Drafters.com. This information could be used in the H2H contests, but it is mainly referring to GPPs and six-person drafts. H2H takes some different strategies, such as really paying attention to the slots that your opponent fills up first.
This week, the site is offering the normal GPPs including the “shark”, “whale”, and “splash”. Below I will list my targets in order from favorite to least favorite. I can not stress this enough, BE STRATEGIC! If a player makes my fade list I will 100% be fading. When depositing at Drafters.com please consider using the promo code “snatchers”. Let’s make some money this season and as always thanks for reading.

A wild week of quarterbacks because there are plenty of great options and their ADP is all over the map. I am typically waiting until the last round or two to draft whichever one falls or whichever one matches my receiving group. For instance, if I have drafted Evans then Brady will be high on my list, same with pairs such as Hopkins/Murray and Diggs/Allen and even Mahomes/Kelce. If spreading out ownership or in the 6 man drafts I would look at guys such as Hurts and Darnold. Both of these guys are producing high levels and not much should slow them down.

Gotta love being able to snap Henry in the first round, the man is fantasy gold. Ekeler is the other running back I am willing to spend a late first or early second on. As long as he stays on the field then 20+ is always a good possibility. Cook’s injury is one that could go either way, typically he is drafted too early for me. Elliott not practicing is no concern and seems to be just weekly rest. If fading early running backs CEH and Robinson make great targets and could even make for good flex options.

Chances are some of the guys on my fade list will have good days, but I am rolling the dice with my targets. Jefferson is creeping up into going too early to draft status. On the other hand. Moore is still going too late, ALL IN on him this week, and love drafting him as early as round 3. I will seem to be high on McLaurin this week than most. Even though I nailed the big Deebo game last week he is not draftable this week based on better options and where he is going. The guys on my fade list come with too much risk this week and happy to avoid them at all costs.

T.J. Hockenson
Don’t mind drafting Kelce anywhere in the first round. However, it will likely be optimal to wait and get one of the other options much later. When drafting Kelce you are not only gambling that he will produce at his normal high rate but as well as gambling the other options having a down week. The plan is simple this week, draft Kelce or wait and draft Fant late. I will likely own Fant on most of my teams due to how early Kelce gets drafted.
Good Luck!
