DraftKings Cash Plays- NFL Week 3 (9/27/20)
Week 3, my condolences if your season long team is decimated by injuries. The positive is it opens up plenty of plays in DFS. Each week I will provide my Draftkings NFL Cash Game plays for the week. I will provide one play at each position (QB, RB, WR, and TE). Defenses should be picked last and I never consider a defense a must play for cash game purposes.
These cash plays can be supplemented by the top stacks and value plays that are released later in the week. Please note, a ton can (and will) change between article posting and kickoff, follow me on Twitter for all my thoughts on additional plays before lineups lock.
QUARTERBACK
Kyler Murray ($6,800) Arizona Cardinals vs. Detroit Lions:
Honestly, plenty of viable QB’s in the lower 7K to upper 6K range. It will all come down to what I can afford after building the rest of my lineup in cash. For cash games, I am not as worried about stacking a WR as I would be in a GPP, so whoever fits will be my guy. Kyler makes a lot of sense playing a bottom barrel defense and this game has a decent chance of turning into a shootout.
RUNNING BACK
Miles Sanders ($6,400), Philadelphia Eagles vs, Cincinnati Bengals:
A home favorite playing against a D-Line expected to be without two starters? Sign me up. Let’s not forget the Eagles need all the playmakers they can get. It doesn’t make sense Miles was left in the lower 6K range when Taylor got a price hike to 7K. Miles is an easy call for me in this spot.
WIDE RECEIVER
Tyler Lockett ($6,400) Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys:

You can honestly insert the Dallas WR’s or DK Metcalf in this spot and I wouldn’t blame you. Both teams will flirt with 30 points each and its just a matter of who finds the end zone. Went with Lockett because he is priced lower than DK and he is going to have some solid games, right? Don’t overthink this spot, grab a piece for all cash games.
TIGHT END
Jordan Reed ($4,000), San Francisco 49ers vs. New York Giants:
This one is assuming Kittle sits out again. He is the best cheap TE available and will be the #1 passing option due to all the injuries. I expect Mullens to target him often as a security blanket. If Kittle plays, I will find the funds to get up to Ertz or Goedert.
