Fantasy Football Breakout Candidate: DeVante Parker
WR DeVante Parker | Miami Dolphins | 2nd Year
2015 Stats: 51 Targets, 26 receptions, 494 yards, 3 TD’s
WR DeVante Parker came into the NFL hoping to make some waves. Parker had a stand out college career at Louisville, becoming the first receiver from there to put up 10 touchdowns since 1998. He was selected with the 14th overall pick by the dolphins who clearly thought he was going to be a game changer.
Parker played in 14 games last year, and showed alot of promise. He lead the team in yards per reception at 19 yards. He tied for second in touchdowns at 3. With another year working along side Jarvis Landry and Kenny Stills, Parker figures to be a starter for 16 games and see the ball more often. Add in WR Rishard Mathews leaving, there is more openings for him to see those targets increase. Parker has a way to go before he becomes the WR1, but he is on his way. I see him taking more away from Stills then Laundry and putting up respectable numbers. In a dynasty league, you want this guy. In a standard PPR League, he is risky with alot of upside.
