Fantasy Football Week 13 Streamers: QB, TE and Team Defense
As usual, before getting into this week’s streamers let’s look at how last week’s streamers did (Yahoo! scoring, 0.5-point PPR).
Quarterback: Taylor Heinicke-12.42 points
Tight End: Juwan Johnson-0 points
Team Defense: Miami Dolphins-18 points
With the playoffs looming, and two teams (Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers) on bye, here are your quarterback, tight end and team defense fantasy football streamers for Week 13.
Quarterback: Jared Goff, Detroit Lions vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Goff had a solid outing against the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving Day, with 240 yards through the air and two touchdowns without an interception. He has been serviceable in two-quarterback leagues in recent weeks, with at least 14.8 fantasy points in three of his last five games and more than 12 fantasy points in four of is last five. But a nice matchup props him up for Week 13.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season (Yahoo scoring). Rushing output has boosted production against them at times, but they’ve allowed over 23 fantasy points to a quarterback in four of their last six games and one of the others (Derek Carr, a comp for Goff?) topped 18 fantasy points.
Sunday’s game in Detroit should not lack for scoring. If you’re streaming a replacement for Kyler Murray this week, Goff should be atop your list.

Others to Consider: Marcus Mariota, Atlanta Falcons vs. Pittsburgh Steelers; Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars at Detroit Lions (check availability); Mike White, New York Jets at Minnesota Vikings; Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Browns at Houston Texans; Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers vs. Miami Dolphins (check availability); Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh Steelers at Atlanta Falcons
Tight End: Foster Moreau, Las Vegas Raiders vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Since Las Vegas’ Week 6 bye, Moreau has at least five targets in four of six games. He has scored in two of the last three. With Darren Waller out, he rarely comes off the field as the Raiders’ No. 1 tight end. It has become curious why he still so clearly qualifies as a streaming tight end, but here we are.
In Week 13 Moreau has a matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, who are allowing the third-most receiving yards per game to tight ends and the 10th-most fantasy points per game to the position (Yahoo! 0.5-point PPR).

Sunday’s game in Vegas is another where scoring shouldn’t be hard. Moreau is a easy way get a piece of that fantasy action.

Others To Consider: Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars at Detroit Lions; Hunter Henry, New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills (Thursday night); Hayden Hurst, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Kansas City Chiefs (check availability); Logan Thomas at New York Giants; Tyler Conklin, New York Jets at Minnesota Vikings; Austin Hooper, Tennessee Titans at Philadelphia Eagles
Team Defense: Cleveland Browns at Houston Texans
When something is working, stick with it while you can. Three weeks in a row I’ve recommended streaming the defense facing the Texans, and I’m making it four in a row this week. The Browns haven’t been a very good defense this season, in real or fantasy terms, but they do have multiple sacks in five of their last six games.
The Texans needed the Dolphins to be playing backups to get to 15 points in Week 12. Whoever has been under center, Davis Mills then Kyle Allen last week, has been sacked at least three times in each of the last five games. In three of the last four, multiple interceptions have been thrown.
The likelihood of multiple sacks, the prospect of multiple takeaways and facing an offense unable to score points adds up to a defense you should stream.
