Fantasy Football Week 13 Streamers: QB, TE, Team Defense
Before moving on to Week 13, let’s look at how Week 12’s streamers did (Yahoo! scoring, 0.5-point PPR).
Quarterback: Cam Newton-8.18 points
Tight End: Dan Arnold-1.4 points
Team Defense: Chicago Bears–4 points
Ick.
Moving to Week 13, with the Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns on a bye, here are my quarterback, tight end and team defense streamers for a critical week in fantasy football leagues.
Quarterback: Carson Wentz, Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans
Wentz topped 40 pass attempts for the second all season in Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (44), as he threw for 306 yards and three touchdowns along with three giveaways. He has multiple passing touchdowns in seven of the last nine games, with over 20 fantasy points five times in that span. Week 13 brings an opportunity to keep the good times rolling
The Houston Texans have allowed less than 14 fantasy points to a quarterback in three straight games, to Jacoby Brissett, Ryan Tannehill and Zach Wilson respectively though. They are still allowing the 10th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks (Yahoo! scoring). Back in Week 6, Wentz had two touchdown passes on 20 attempts on his way to 17 fantasy points against the Texans.
Wentz as my top quarterback streamer for Week 13 is as much about his floor as it is his ceiling in a good matchup. He won’t leave you with a nothing outing in a critical week, and he could easily finish with over 20 fantasy points.

Others To Consider: Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks; Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins vs New York Giants; Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints vs. Dallas Cowboys (Thursday night, make sure he starts); Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers; Tyrod Taylor, Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts; Taylor Heinicke Washington Football Team at Las Vegas Raiders; Mac Jones, New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills (Monday night); Teddy Bridgewater, Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday night); Justin Fields/Andy Dalton, Chicago Bears vs. Arizona Cardinals
Tight End: Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans
Doyle had six receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12. He has at least five targets in three straight games, and he had a touchdown in back-to-back games prior to that stretch. A nice matchup is coming in Week 13.

The Houston Texans enter the week allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to tight ends (12.7 per game, Yahoo!, 0.5-point PPR). Allowing six touchdowns to the position (tied for fourth-most in the league) has offset being more middle of the pack otherwise, but Houston’s defense is beatable all over the field. Back in Week 6, Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox had a touchdown against them.
The range out outcomes feels high for Doyle, but he has become Indianapolis’ most involved tight end and that means something. So a Colts’ quarterback-tight end streamer stack it is for Week 13.

Others To Consider: Logan Thomas, Washington Football team at Las Vegas Raiders (check availability); Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens (check availability); Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears vs. Arizona Cardinals; Foster Moreau, Las Vegas Raiders vs. Washington (monitor Darren Waller‘s status); Evan Engram, New York Giants at Miami Dolphins; Tyler Conklin, Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions; Jared Cook, Los Angeles Chargers at Cincinnati Bengals; Jonnu Smith, New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills (Monday night)
Team Defense: Miami Dolphins vs. New York Giants
The Dolphins’ defense had a great outing in Week 12, holding the Carolina Panthers to 10 points with five sacks and three interceptions. Through a run of good matchups, admittedly as a caveat, they have allowed 17 or less points in four straight games (10 or less three times in that span). Over that four-game stretch, they have 16 sacks with 10 takeaways. Week 13 brings another good matchup at home.
The New York Giants have scored 17 or less points in five of their last six games, with 13 or less points three times. Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles was the first and is the only time of that six-game stretch Daniel Jones has not been sacked multiple times. Firing offensive coordinator Jason Garrett and elevating Freddie Kitchens after Week 11 was akin to putting out a kitchen fire when the whole house is ablaze. The Giants have nothing to hang their hat on offensively right now.
Miami’s defense remains in position to take advantage of a good matchup in yet another week. In a week a little thin on good, widely available options, they are my top streamer for Week 13.
