Fantasy Football Week 4 Streamers: QB, TE and Team Defense
Before we dive into Week 4’s streamers, let’s review Week 3 (Yahoo! scoring, 0.5-point PPR)
Quarterback: Jared Goff-14.88 points
Tight End: Logan Thomas-1.5 points
Team Defense: Dallas Cowboys-10 points
Here are your quarterback, tight end and team defense fantasy football streamers for Week 4.
Quarterback: Marcus Mariota, Atlanta Falcons vs. Cleveland Browns
Mariota has not lit it up through the air so far this season, with not even 230 passing yards in a game yet. But he scored via the air and ground in Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks, with three passing touchdowns over the last two games. In Week 1, he had 277 total yards (72 rushing) with a rushing touchdown. It has added up to solid fantasy production, with over 16.5 fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring) in two of three games and 15.4 points in the other.
In Week 4 Mariota gets the Cleveland Browns, who are allowing the 12th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks (20.3 per game, Yahoo! scoring) so far this season. They have allowed a rushing score to an opposing quarterback in two of three games, and the other signal caller they’ve faced (Joe Flacco) threw for 307 yards and four touchdowns.
Mariota has nice weapons around him (Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Cordarrelle Patterson) and the fantasy cheat code that is rushing production. Floor and upside gets him the nod as my top quarterback streamer for Week 4.

Others To Consider: Jared Goff, Detroit Lions vs. Seattle Seahawks; Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars at Philadelphia Eagles; Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints vs Minnesota Vikings (London-Sunday morning); Matt Ryan, Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans; Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts; Cooper Rush, Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders; Jacoby Brisett, Cleveland Browns at Atlanta Falcons; Geno Smith, Seattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions
Tight End: Tyler Conklin, New York Jets at Pittsburgh Steelers
Conklin had a team-high eight catches for 84 yards in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He has at least seven targets in all three games this season, with at least six catches and 40 yards in each of the last two.
Nathan Jahnke of Pro Football Focus had these nuggets about Conklin coming out of last Sunday’s game, after the early slate of games league-wide.

- -He’s the only tight end this season with over 200 offensive snaps as of the end of the early Week 3 games.
- -Similarly, his 141 routes run are 25 more than any other player.
Conklin’s Week 4 matchup looks good. The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the midlde of the pack against tight ends through three weeks, but that’s only due to allowing nothing to the New England Patriots’ tight ends in Week 2. In Week 3, Browns tight end David Njoku had nine catches for 89 yards and a touchdown against Pittsburgh.
An individual tight end has had at least eight targets against the Steelers in two of three games this season.
There is a potential fly in the ointment here for Week 4. Zack Wilson (knee) is in line to return under center for the Jets, so the chemistry Conklin has built with Joe Flacco will have to re-start with Wilson. But I’m still going with the Jets’ tight end as my top tight end streamer for the week.

Others To Consider: David Njoku, Cleveland Browns at Atlanta Falcons; Irv Smith Jr., Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans (Sunday morning-London); Hayden Hurst, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Miami Dolphins (Thursday night, check injury status); Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars at Philadelphia Eagles; Logan Thomas, Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys;
Team Defense: Philadelphia Eagles vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Eagles got after Carson Wentz in Week 3, sacking the Commanders’ signal caller nine times while holding Washington to six offensive points. Since giving up 35 points to the Detroit Lions in Week 1, Jonathan Gannon’s unit has allowed a total of 13 points with 11 sacks and four takeaways.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have had a competent-to-very good offense through three games this season. Trevor Lawrence has not been sacked in either of the last two games, as they have also not turned he ball over in either contest. As could be expected, the defenses they’ve faced have put up 4, zero and -4 fantasy points respectively (Yahoo! scoring).
But the Eagles’ defense is a step up in class from the Commanders, Colts and Chargers. Lawrence and company will have their sternest test of the season on Sunday, and Philadelphia should at least pile up some sacks with the home crowd behind them.
