Fantasy Football Week 7 Streamers: QB, TE, Team Defense
Before unveiling Week 7’s streamers, let’s see how Week 6’s streamers did (Yahoo! scoring, 0.5-point PPR).
Quarterback: Sam Howell-18.34 points
Tight End: Logan Thomas-0.7 points
Team Defense: Las Vegas Raiders-9 points
Week 7 has six teams on a bye (Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans, Cincinnati Bengals, New York Jets, Houston Texans, Carolina Panthers), so the depth of fantasy football rosters will be stretched.
Here are your Week 7 quarterback, tight end and team defense streamers.
Quarterback: Sam Howell, Washington Commanders vs. New York Giants
Howell didn’t light it up in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons (151 passing yards), but three touchdown passes led to him posting 18.34 fantasy points. He has topped 18 fantasy points in three straight games, with more than 17 fantasy points (ESPN scoring) in five of six games overall this season.
In Week 7 Howell gets a matchup against the New York Giants, who are in the top half of the league in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks (16.31 per game: Yahoo! scoring). But they have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in three of their last four games, and two of those have topped 300 yards through the air. Overall, the Giants have allowed multiple touchdowns to four of six quarterbacks, and game script in a blowout loss for them squashed the production of those quarterbacks.
There is one big fly in Howell’s ointment is this week. He has taken a league-high 34 sacks this season, and the Giants blitz at the fourth-highest rate in the league (38.1 percent). But that’s not enough to pivot me away from Howell as my top quarterback streamer for Week 7.

Others To Consider: Desmond Ridder, Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers; Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (Thursday night); Daniel Jones, New York Giants vs. Washington Commanders (if healthy); Joshua Dobbs, Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks; Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers at Denver Broncos (check availability); Gardner Minshew, Indianapolis Colts vs. Cleveland Browns; Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh Steelers at Los Angeles Rams
Tight End: Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers at Denver Broncos
Musgrave went into a Week 6 bye on a relative high, with six receptions (on seven targets) for 34 yards against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5. In the last two games he was not injured early in he has 12 catches on 15 targets with over 9.0 fantasy points (full PPR) in both games.
Week 7 brings a matchup against the Denver Broncos, who are allowing the most fantasy points to tight ends so far this season. That is skewed a little by facing Travis Kelce in Week 6. But Denver also allowed two touchdowns and 85 yards to Cole Kmet in Week 4, and 67 yards on four catches to Tyler Conklin in Week 5.

Jordan Love has a 95.5 passer rating when targeting Musgrave. Pair a recent upswing with a nice matchup, and Musgrave rises to the top of the stack of tight end streamers this week.

Others to Consider: Michael Mayer, Las Vegas Raiders at Chicago Bears; Jonnu Smith, Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers; Gerald Everett, Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs; Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Atlanta Falcons; Logan Thomas, Washington Commanders at New York Giants;
Team Defense: Cleveland Browns
Surely owing to a Week 5 bye, and maybe a Week 6 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, the best defense in the NFL is widely available in fantasy. In four of their five games this season, Cleveland has allowed 17 or less and they have at least three sacks in all five contests. Having only four takeaways has lowered their fantasy output.
In Week 7 that takeaway stat is in line to correct. Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew, starting in place of Anthony Richardson of course, threw three interceptions in Week 6. And Minshew’s history says there will be chances for takeaways on Sunday.
