Four Down Territory: Double Thrust Alert
Second Down
On this episode of the Cowboys getting shredded.
The Cowboys defense has allowed 1,040 rushing yards this season. That’s second to the Texans.
Being awful at stopping the run is only okay if you have Patrick Mahomes (the Chiefs rank third in the league for most rushing yards gained) but when you’re literally anyone else it’s not going to end well.
There’s a saying in the league that yards is one stat that doesn’t matter and that’s true. If your defense is bending and not breaking then yards are an empty stat skill players use to get paid in the offseason.
But for the Cowboys?
Spinal column, meet Bane’s kneecap.
As bad as the Cowboys’ defense is their offense doesn’t get to slide, either.
When you have a receiving corp that consists of Cooper, Gallup, and Lamb you should be able to put up more than ten points. Two Zeke fumbles don’t help and he’s a little washed but you expect more from the “geniuses” McCarthy and Moore.
To think, people had the audacity to ask this question.

If Monday night showed Dallas anything it’s that Dak covers up A LOT of holes on the team.
Luckily for Dallas the NFC East is an absolute mess and the Eagles have a brutal stretch during the second half of the season. If they can somehow win six more games they should win the division.
That is, if the coaching staff can get this team to believe.
A friendly reminder that their fans are some BUSTERS
