Free NBA DFS Draftkings Lineup Advice 10/30/15

We had some good picks, we had a few duds, we learn from our mistakes and we move on! So here we are, a 12 game slate on a Friday night. 3 game slates are quite hard to judge because if you don’t have that one sleeper, its over.

A few of our highlight picks:

Kyle O’Quinn: 31 DK points

Paul Millsap: 42.75 DK points

Ian Mahinmi: 24.25 DK points

George Hill: 31 DK points

DeAndre Jordan: 35.25 DK points(didn’t play 4th quarter)

Point Guard

John Wall $9,100

This league is filled with great point guards, we have Westbrook, Lillard, Curry, CP3, but many forget the wiz kid, John Wall. So, we will be leading the “John Wall awareness” campaign tour. When we think of great point guards, we throw Wall to the side, and he doesn’t get the attention he deserves. Wall had very low ownership on opening night and he was able to put together a great night with 55.25 DK points! Defensively, he managed to get 5 blocks and 3 steals! Wall is going up against Michael Carter-Williams, which does not scare me. Wall and Beal will be flying around the court and hitting threes and taking it to the rack. Wall is only $9,100 which is pretty fair for a guy who put up 56 on opening night!

Ricky Rubio $7,000

Ricky Rubio had an outstanding opening night game. Not only did he play extremely well, but the wolves came back down 15 points in the 4th quarter, and won the game because of Rubio. He ended the game with 25 points, 14 assists, and with only 1 turnover! The Timberwolves will be playing against the Denver Nuggets, who had a great opening game against the Rockets. This game has an over and under of 210 total points, so this will be a good game to stack from.

Mo Williams $5,300

The Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers game will also be another high scoring game. The vegas insiders have predicted this game at 198 total points, that should leave a lot of room for LeBron James and his old side kick Mo Williams. Still with Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpart out, Mo will have 30 plus minutes once again. The perimeter defense at the point guard position for the Heat is not very good. Goron Dragic likes to gamble on steals, which should leave Mo with a good amount of open jumpers.

Shooting Guard

Lou Williams $4,700

The lakers will be playing the Sacramento Kings with an over under of 210 total points. There should be a lot of fantasy points to go around. Lou Williams will be asked to be one of the top scorers for this work in progress Lakers team. Against the Wolves, Lou shot 6 for 12, scoring 21 points, and 3 rebounds. He also played 27 minutes and there is zero sign that he will go below that number. 27 minutes is a lot of minutes for a player that all he does is shoot. With that being said you can already expect he will get at least 15 points a couple rebounds, a couple assists, and about a steal. Play Lou Williams with confidence against the Kings!

Klay Thompson $7,200

frree nba dfs draftkings lineup 10/30Many would say Klay had a slow start to the season, only putting up 19 DK points, but don’t let that scare you. When Klay Thompson is shooting well,  he is one of the best in the league, remember when he put up 37 in a quarter. Harden will be guarding him in this one and we all know that Harden is extremely lackadaisical on defense. If you can recall last year the Rockets got torched by the Warriors in the regular season. They didn’t look like they belonged on the same court. The warrior’s offense passed so well and got guys open for wide open threes and Thompson was the main weapon outside the arc. So look for Klay to have a big game in this one.

Small Forward

Harrison Barnes

Harrison Barnes is probably the only player on this warrior’s team that plays garbage minutes as a starter. That being said, he plays when the game matters and when it doesn’t. He had 33 minutes in opening night to go along with 8 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal. The amount of minutes that Barnes  will always contribute to good fantasy points. On opening night he didn’t have the greatest game, and still ended up with 23 fantasy points. The Warriors will be going up against the Rockets who are coming off of a tough loss and will be playing with revenge. The Vegas insiders have this game a total of 214 points. That being said expect this game to be high scoring leaving many points to a variety of players.

Danilo Gallinari

I am again going back to the Timberwolves vs Nuggets game but rightfully so. He had 23 points 8 boards and 3 blocks against the Rockets, i think those stats will continue for another couple of games. Again i would like to state that this will be the highest scoring game of the day, so i suggest stacking as many players as possible!

Rodney Hood $3,900

In 29 minutes, Hood had 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists. Again, another player that will be playing against a terrible perimeter defensive team. Rodney hood will be able to take advance of whoever is guarding him whether its Hollis Thompson, Nik Stauskus, or Jakar Sampson. Playing a minimum of 25 minutes a game, he will be able to get enough fantasy points to reach his value.

Power Forward

Kenneth Faried

free nba dfs draftkings lineup 10/30Once again, the Timberwolves vs Nuggets game. Kenneth Faried, The Energizer Bunny, he gets all the hustle stats in the book. He is going to be the most active player in this game, Faried goes after every rebound, every loose ball, and contests every layup and jumpshot. No matter what the score to this game is you know what you will get out of fried which are 10 plus, points 8 plus rebounds, 2 plus blocks, and 1 plus steal. Play Kenneth Faried with confidence as he is pretty cheap and won’t be for very long.

Nerlens Noel

Nerlens Noel had a great opening night game with 14 points, 12 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 3 steals. Even though those stats were up against a terrible front line of the Boston Celtics, he will be going up against Derrick Favors. Derrick Favors is a good bigman but he does not like playing defense on big man who move around. Noel is a very mobile Power Forward who likes to get out and run. Also when Utah goes to their bench they aren’t very good which will let Noel take advantage.

Center

DeMarcus Cousins

How much do I have to say on Demarcus Cousins? Even though he had 8 turnovers in the Kings opening game, he still had 32 points and 13 rebounds in 35 minutes. He should be averaging 35 minutes plus almost every game this season and it won’t stop now against the LA Lakers. The Lakers have extremely poor perimeter defense that leads to the PF’s and C’s for the lakers to help, which gives opposing Big man wide open layups or jump shots. Cousins will be guarded by Roy Hibbert, who is a good post defender, but when he has to guard athletic Centers who can shoot, he really struggles. I see Demarcus getting 30 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 1 steal against the Lakers.

Jonas Valanciunas

I missed the boat on Valanciunas on Wednesday, I was eyeing him, but couldn’t pull the trigger. Val is playing the Celtics who made Jahlil Okafor look like the Rookie of the Year on opening night. The combo of Tyler Zeller and David Lee does not scare off many. Jonas is so much bigger and more physical than either Lee and Zeller, I think he bullies his way to a double double. Lowry loves looking down low for the big fella, and he delivers in the post. He is only $6,200, which is a little low for him. I think Boston and Toronto will be a really close game, so he will not be subject to garbage time.
