Free NBA DFS DraftKings Lineup Help and Advice 12/29
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! We’re back to deliver some NBA fantasy advice on Tuesday, December 29th!! Here’s a look at our NBA Christmas Day GPP lineup!
There’s always a tomorrow in 1 day fantasy, so let’s take a look at tonight’s 5 game slate! 4 out of the 5 match ups tonight are East vs. West, so the teams are not very familiar with each other.(Credit Tykes.co for images)
Point Guards
Jeff Teague- $6,300 @ HOU
Teague is not a cash game play by any means, but he is definitely a tournament play every night because his ownership is always low and he can heat ? ? ? up at any time. Teague had 51 DK points against Detroit in only 32 minutes just two games ago. The O/U on the Houston-Atlanta game is 211 combined points, which is the highest on the slate by far. Vegas projects Houston to win by only 2, so the starters on both teams should see 35 to 40 minutes, so I recommend stacking both teams in this game. The only thing to worry about with Teague is getting shut down by Patrick Beverley, so use with caution.
Matthew Dellavedova- $4,800 @ DEN
The key to winning in daily fantasy is to pick cheap players who are starting because of injuries or suspensions. Kyrie will most likely sit out tonight in Denver because he isn’t playing back-to-back games just yet. Dellavedova is the next man up tonight for the Cavs and he is relatively cheap, especially for a starter. This season Dellavedova is averaging 9 PPG, 5.3 APG, and 2.2 RPG basically as a back up to Mo Williams and Kyrie. One more note: Mo Williams has only played 10 minutes/game over his last three games, while Dellavedova has averaged 29.3 minutes/game over that span.

“The Sleeper Pick”- Mario Chalmers
Shooting Guards
James Harden- $10,300 vs. ATL
Harden’s price on DraftKings keeps dropping, and now it may be at a season low $10,300 tonight against the Hawks. If you ever watch the Rockets play, it is hard not to notice that Harden ALWAYS has the ball in his hands, which means he is the one getting the points, assists, and the steals. However, he does lead the entire in NBA in turnovers, but turnovers are only -0.5 on DraftKings, and he makes a ton of 3’s to make up for the lost points. Bazemore and Korver will be tasked with stopping Harden tonight, which is probably the best defensive match up he has had all season and this game will be high scoring, so Harden should see a ton of opportunities for fantasy points. The Rockets are projected to win by 2, and Harden takes matters into his own hands in crunch time, so don’t be shocked if he scores 13 DK points in the last 3 minutes alone if the game is close.
“The Sleeper Pick’- Kyle Korver
Small Forwards
LeBron James- $9,600 @ DEN
I know the Cavs got blown out by the Trail Blazers last game and LeBron had a season low 26 DK points, but James is still a top 3 player in the league, yet is only $9,600 on DraftKings tonight. Denver will be without Gallinari for the next few weeks, so Denver literally has nobody who can guard LeBron tonight. Denver’s lineup will most likely be Nelson, Harris, Faried, Lauvergne, and Papanikolaou. Kyrie Irving will more than likely sit tonight’s game out, so look for Love and James to run the floor most of the night. Surprisingly, Vegas predicts Cleveland to only win by 6, so it should be a rather close contest, so starters should see the majority of the minutes tonight.
“The Sleeper Pick”- Lance Thomas
Power Forwards
Paul Millsap- $7,700 @ HOU
Rotowire ranks Millsap as their highest rated power forward tonight and I cannot agree more. Millsap will be playing in the highest projected scoring game tonight and should see around 36-40 minutes in a tight game. Last night, Millsap put up 45.25 DK points against the Pacers and also had 50 DK points against the Knicks the game before. Millsap has been stuffing the stat sheet recently and is even averaging a career high 3.4 assists/game this year. The Rockets give up 105 points/game to opposing teams, which is 5th worst in the NBA and the Hawks have been on a roll lately, so definitely stack Atlanta in a lineup.
Chris Bosh- $7,100 @ MEM
Chris Bosh has been unstoppable as of late, averaging 49.3 DK points over his last three games! Bosh was 5 for 5 on 3’s last night in Brooklyn. Bosh has been crushing value, and his price is still relatively low at $7,100 tonight. Vegas has the Memphis-Miami game as a dead even contest, so both teams starters should see a lot of minutes in a close game. My favorite part about Bosh’s match up tonight is that Randolph isn’t starting anymore and so nobody will really be able to stop Bosh and his three point shot that has been money as of late.
“The Sleeper Pick”- JaMychal Green
Centers
Enes Kanter- $4,900 vs. MIL
Kanter was a monster last year after being traded from Utah to Oklahoma City, every night out he put up 22 and 12. Kanter has been on a similar tear recently, averaging 34 DK points/game over his last three games. Coach Billy Donovan starts Adams because of his defense, then has Kanter come off the bench as an energy guy, Kanter knows his role and he does a great job providing instant offense off the bench. Hopefully, Donovan will give Kanter more minutes because he is putting up incredible numbers, especially on a per-minute basis. Kanter is putting up numbers of a player $6,700, but he’s only $4,900, he won’t be this cheap for much longer.
Greg Monroe- $6,600 @ OKC
Kanter is great on the offensive end, but many times he looks lost on defense. Greg Monroe will be matching up with Kanter most of the night, as Steven Adams hasn’t really seen the floor the last few games. Monroe’s price has dropped to $6,600 so take full advantage tonight. Monroe is going to be a nightmare for Kanter to guard in the post, and the Thunder give up the 5th most points in the paint to opposing big men. Vegas predicts the Thunder to win by 14 points tonight, but just don’t see that happening, the Bucks are the only team yet to beat Golden State! This game should play rather close.
