John Wall $9,200 vs. BOS
Wall couldn’t be stopped by the Celtics last time out in Washington, just three games ago. Wall posted an incredible line of 36 points, 13 assists, 7 rebounds, and 7 steals ? ? ?. Vegas predicts the BOS-WAS match up to make for an excellent fantasy game, as Washington is favored by just 1, and the O/U is 212 combined points. Isaiah Thomas is great offensively, but at just 5’9″(8 inches shorter than Wall) he struggled defending Wall last game, but so did Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley when they were tasked with stopping him.
Stephen Curry $10,600 vs. SA
Steph has been a ? every single night at the point guard spot for weeks after coming back from injury. Curry is averaging 60.2 DK points/game over his last 6 games, playing above his value every single night. When a player is producing 60 points/game(8x value) on a consistent basis, you can’t help but play him. Curry has had this game circled on his calendar for months and he’s sure to not disappoint. Steph’s best games of the season have come in competitive match ups when he’s played all four quarters, and Curry should see around 40 minutes tonight in the match up of the year against the Spurs.
“The Sleeper Pick”- Brandon Jennings
Shooting Guards
Andrew Wiggins $6,700 @ CLE (Revenge Game Alert)
It’s pretty clear Andrew Wiggins holds a grudge against the Cavaliers for shipping him to the lowly Timberwolves, and missing out on a shot at playing with LeBron. Wiggins takes the revenge game to the next level. He’s played the Cavaliers three times in his career and in those three games he’s scored 27, 33, and 35 points(Each game he set a new career high) The Cavaliers haven’t figured out a way to stop Wiggins yet, we’ll see what Tyronn Lue will throw at it him tonight in Cleveland.
“The Sleeper Pick”- Garrett Temple
Small Forwards
Kawhi Leonard $8,000 vs. GS
It’s no surprise the Spurs have blown out their last three opponents(LAL, PHX, DAL) and Kawhi has gotten a lot of time to rest up as the bench has been playing a lot of garbage time. Kawhi only logged 26 minutes/game over those three games, and has had plenty of time to rest up for tonight’s match up against Golden State. The Spurs are tired of hearing how good the Warriors are, they’ve been overshadowed all year even though the Spurs are 38-6 and the Warriors are 40-4. It’s no secret the Warriors play at the 2nd fastest pace in the entire league, so a ton of opportunities for fantasy points. Tim Duncan has already been ruled out for tonight’s match up, a golden opportunity for Kawhi to take advantage.
Shabazz Muhammed $4,500 @ CLE
T-Wolves haven’t given Shabazz Muhammed the starting nod over Tayshaun Prince yet and it’s hard to figure out why. He’s has been consistently scoring close to 20 points off the bench every night. Coach Sam Mitchell plays him in both garbage time and crunch time, which is very rare for a player. Muhammed just scored a season-high 25 points last game against the Grizzlies. He’s been given 30+ minutes/game over the last couple of nights, should see the same tonight in Cleveland.
“The Sleeper Pick”- Justise Winslow
Power Forwards
Josh Smith- $4,000 @ NO
Josh Smith is back in Houston again, and has played incredibly well for the Rockets so far. Dwight Howard will most likely be out tonight, so Josh Smith will be asked to take on more of the offensive load tonight against the Pelicans. Vegas has the HOU-NO game with the highest O/U at 215 combined points, so it’s a good idea to stack a few players from this contest(There is going to be zero Defense played) Smith had 31.25 FPP last night against the Mavs and took an insane 14 shot attempts in just 22 minutes on the court, Smith should see around 30 minutes tonight if D12 sits out tonight.
“The Sleeper Pick”- Darrell Arthur
Centers
Willie Cauley-Stein $4,500 vs. CHA
Cauley-Stein is starting for the Kings in just his 40th career game. Willie has come along way from being the best wide receiver in Kansas high school football to Kentucky then to the 6th overall pick in the draft. Stein is averaging a double-double in his 3 games, and has an excellent match up tonight against the Hornets who are without Al Jefferson, and Cody Zeller. Cauley-Stein is the clear starter for the Kings, who are playing for a playoff spot, and the Kings play at the fastest pace in the league, which means more rebounds and opportunities for Willie-Cauley Stein.
Spencer Hawes-$4,100 @ SAC
Spencer Hawes is starting tonight for the aforementioned Al Jefferson and Cody Zeller. Hawes has started the last two games for the Hornets averaging 31 FPP over the last 2 games as the starter. Hawes is playing over 30 minutes/game with Zeller and Big Al out, both him and Kaminsky should both see close to 30 minutes tonight.
“The Sleeper Pick”- Boban Marjanovic
