Free NBA DFS DraftKings Lineup Help and Advice 1/27/16
What’s up guys! Happy NBA Wednesday ? We’re back again to give you our @TopShelfDFS advice for January 27th! Our lineup didn’t do too shabby last night:
8 games on the slate tonight, let’s see what we’re up against.
Point Guards
Zach LaVine $4,500 @ OKC
Ricky Rubio may have some competition for his starting spot if LaVine keeps playing like this. On Monday night, the T-Wolves were down 92-80, then LaVine steps up and single-handedly brings the Wolves back to 94-91 in just over two minutes. LaVine makes the most of his limited minutes off the bench, as he’s averaging 12.3 PPG in just 23 minutes off the bench this year. The last time the Wolves played the Thunder at home they got blown out, and LaVine racked up 38.25 DK points in garbage time, we should see a similar outcome again tonight.
Chris Paul $9,700 @ ATL
Vegas predicts a ton of blowouts tonight, as almost all the spreads are in double figures. Really the only close game on the slate tonight is Clippers-Hawks, as Vegas predicts Atlanta to win by just 3. The rest of tonight’s match ups are projected to be blow outs, which means many teams will rest their stars in garbage time. With Blake Griffin out for another 4-6 weeks with a broken hand, the Clippers continue to rely heavily on Chris Paul. The Clippers entire offense runs through CP3, especially with Griffin out. Paul has been consistently scoring 50+ DK points every night out for the last several weeks.
Sneaky GPP play: J.J. Barea
Shooting Guards
Archie Goodwin $4,800 @ CLE

Goodwin graced the cover of yesterday’s article and did not disappoint, scoring 26 points, dishing out 6 assists, and grabbing 6 rebounds. Goodwin had more points last night than Damian Lillard, Chris Paul, and John Wall. He’s been playing so well as of late, that when Brandon Knight comes back he may have lost his starting job. Goodwin has started just three games for the Suns and is averaging 37.75 DK points/game as the starter, which is incredible for a 21 year-old who was the last resort for the Suns when Knight went down.
Sneaky GPP play: Gary Harris
Small Forwards
Kawhi Leonard $8,200 vs. HOU
I’m glad I wasn’t around to witness the post-game speech Gregg Popovich had in store for the Spurs after their 30 point lost to the Warriors. Popovich isn’t going to let the Spurs get embarrassed twice in a row at home to Harden and the Rockets. The Spurs last played the Rockets on Christmas day, and if you remember Kawhi had 5 steals and 3 blocks in that game as he racked up 52.5 DK points. Kawhi will be matched up with Harden most of the night, and Harden leads the league in turnovers, which means more steal opportunities for Leonard.
Sneaky GPP play: Chandler Parsons
Power Forwards
Nerlens Noel $6,400 @ DET
Nerlens Noel cares more on the defensive end of the floor than he cares about scoring points, very rare to see that in a player in today’s NBA. Nerlens played only played 30 minutes last night and was still able to swat 3 shots and grab 3 steals. Nerlens lives for sending the ball into the stands and making big plays on defense. He’s averaging a double-double over his last four games and hasn’t even been playing a lot of minutes. Okafor is ruled out, Noel should see another double-double against Detroit. (Yes even with Drummond guarding him)
Sneaky GPP play: Mo Speights
Centers
Andre Drummond $8,500 vs. PHI
All in on Andre Drummond for $8,500 tonight against the Sixers who are playing on a back-to-back. Drummond is averaging 52 DK points/game against Philly this season. Not sure how a player averaging 17 and 16 doesn’t get a starting spot on the all-star team. Drummond has the highest ceiling of any center tonight by far, and the Pistons need this win tonight as they barely hold onto a playoff spot right now.
Jared Sullinger $5,400 vs. DEN
Sullinger has the most upside of any player on the slate tonight at just a $5,400 price tag. Two games ago Sullinger posted 8, 11, and 7 assists in just 26 minutes against the Sixers. If Sullinger can just get some minutes, he is extremely valuable not only for your fantasy lineup, but for the Celtics too. If he can sneak in some extra minute in garbage time tonight, he could be in for a monster night.
Sneaky GPP play: Boban Marjanovic
