Let’s check out tonight’s 10 game slate!
Point Guards
Kyle Lowry $8,500 @ MIN
Fresh off his first triple-double of the season, Kyle Lowry and the Raptors take on the T-Wolves tonight at home in Toronto. The last three matchups between Minnesota and Toronto have ended with final scores of 105-100, 113-99, and 117-112, scoring has not been hard to come by when these two teams match up. When you watch the Raptors play, one thing sticks out: DeRozan and Lowry are almost their entire offense. Scola, Valanciunas, and James Johnson provide very little offensive production for Toronto, so Lowry and DeRozan’s usage rates are always very high. This game should be high scoring, so look for both of Toronto’s guards to have nice games.
Reggie Jackson $6,700 @ PHI
With Brandon Jennings gone, the Pistons are now Reggie Jackson’s team and it has shown since Jennings’ departure. In his last 3 games since the trade, Reggie is averaging 37.7 FPPG. Jackson has been shooting the ball a ton as of late and been hitting his shots(shooting 50% over his last 3 contests) He has an excellent match-up tonight against the Sixers, we’ll see if his hot streak continues tonight in Philly.

DeMar DeRozan $7,300 vs. MIN

DeRozan hasn’t been this cheap on DraftKings in a very long time. The last time the Raptors matched up with the T-Wolves, DeRozan had his best game of the season, scoring 35 points, dishing out 4 assists and grabbing 3 boards. Even with Valanciunas back, DeRozan has still been getting close to 20 shot attempts/game. Take advantage of DeRozan’s discounted price tag tonight against Minnesota.
Sneaky GPP play- Wes Matthews
Small Forwards
Kevin Durant $9,800 @ DAL
There aren’t a lot of cheap options tonight at the small forward spot and when that’s the case, it’s best just to pay up for that position. Durant has an excellent match-up tonight on the road against the Mavericks, as Parsons and Nowitzki do not match up well with him. KD is averaging 10 3-point attempts/game over his last 6 contests and is relatively cheap tonight, at only $9,800. If I have to choose between KD and LeBron, my money’s on KD tonight.
Tobias Harris $6,000 @ PHI
It’s still tough to gauge how Tobias’ fantasy value will transition after coming over from Orlando, but it hasn’t seemed to change, as he’s averaging 31.5 FPPG in his first few games with Detroit. Tobias has been taking quite a few shots with his new team and been fitting into the offense nicely. Tobias is especially enticing on Fanduel, as his price is a lot cheaper and you have to like his match tonight against the Sixers.
Sneaky GPP Play- Matt Barnes
Power Forwards
LaMarcus Aldridge $7,000 @ SAC
Anyone who says daily fantasy isn’t gambling has never rostered a player on the Spurs before. The Spurs are pretty banged up, but Aldridge has managed to stay healthy and on the court for every single game this season. Duncan is averaging a career-low 25.3 minutes/game and Kawhi may be out again tonight. Aldridge has played better than his price tag in 3 of his last 4 games and has an excellent match-up tonight in a fast paced game against the Kings. If Kawhi is ruled out again, we’re rolling out Aldridge.
Zach Randolph $6,900 @ LAL
If you didn’t catch the Lakers-Bucks highlights from Monday night, the Bucks looked like the Harlem Globetrotters against the almost non-existent Laker D. With Gasol out, Randolph has been getting all the looks in the post for the Grizzlies. Since Gasol broke his foot, Randolph is averaging 33.5 FPPG and has scored 16 points or more in every one of those games.
Sneaky GPP play- JaMychal Green
Centers
Andre Drummond $8,000 @ PHI
Drummond has 11 straight double-doubles in the month of February, and there should be no reason why he doesn’t grab another tonight against Jahlil Okafor and the Sixers. Drummond’s best games of the year have come against Philly, as he’s averaging 53 DK points/game against the 76ers this season. Drummond is a monster on the glass and is getting a lot of easy dunks in the post off of putbacks. He’s been consistently averaging 17 and 16 all season and he should be in line for another double-double barring foul trouble.
