Free NFL FanDuel Cash Line Up For Week 13, Sunday 12/06

Every week during the NFL season I’ll be publishing my cash game line up for FanDuel and the rationale behind all my selections. Hopefully, we’ll use this line up to double our money in our cash lineups.

Again, this is my cash game line-up, and while I always put it in a few GPPs, there are other players at a couple of positions better suited for tournaments.

Before we jump into Infantryboys cash lineup for the week, I just wanted to give him a little recognition for the lineup he had last week. This is just to show that we here at GoingFor2 not only write DFS, but we play it, and do quite well. I’d like to thank all of you for checking us out on a regular basis and I hope we can help you in whatever type fantasy sports you play, now back to your regularly scheduled program…

Free NFL FanDuel Cash Line Up For Week 11, Sunday 12/06

QB Matt Hasselbeck ($6,500) Hasselbeck is a perfect example of why your cash and tournament line ups should not be identical, because while he’s a great cash option, I won’t have too much GPP exposure with this line up (probably only about $10.) Hasselbeck has a high floor and a low ceiling, in his four starts he’s scored between 15.32 and 20.3 FanDuel points. He’ll face a Steelers defense ranked 19th against the pass but 9th against the run, meaning the Colts will have to throw to move the ball. The game has a solid over/under of 49 points with the Steelers installed as 7 point favorites, putting game flow in Hasselbeck’s favor since he’ll probably have to keep throwing to win at the end.

RB Doug Martin ($7,600) Besides a few exceptions, it hasn’t been good strategy this season to pay up for running backs. This looks like a week the trend will continue. Martin, who’s resurrected his career this season with 1038 yards on 202, makes for a nice mid-range option. He’ll go up against an Atlanta run defense ranked 19th against the run, but allowing the most FanDuel points against the position at 26.87. The game has a decent over/under of 46 points with Tampa Bay a one point favorite.

RB Shaun Draughn ($5,900) At this price, Arizona’s David Johnson will be the more popular choice, but I think Draughn is the safer option. Johnson has already fumbled three times in limited snaps this season and has two experienced players in the backfield with him. Draughn has rarely left the field since being installed as the starter and gets to face a Chicago defense ranked 31st against the run by Football Outsiders. Draughn is also heavily involved in the passing game, catching 17 passes in the last three games, so if the 49ers fall behind, he’ll still be involved in the game plan.

WR Odell Beckham Jr ($9,400) While the Jets have the 5th ranked pass defense, this is somewhat misleading as lock down cornerback Darrelle Revis has been ruled out with a concussion. Beckham, who’s been targeted 104 times on the season, will probably draw coverage from Antonio Cromartie, who’s currently ranked 99th out of 114 cornerbacks on the season. The game features a 46 1/2 point over/under with the Giants a small underdog, so Beckham has positive game flow as well as a great match up. Fire him up.

WR Alshon Jeffery ($7,700) Jeffrey finally appears to be healthy for the first time this season and is priced under $8000 against San Francisco’s 31st ranked pass defense. The 49ers are allowing 32.5 FanDuel points a game to the position and Jeffrey, who’s been targeted 57 times this season in only six games, has very little competition from his fellow receivers for targets as Eddie Royal is doubtful and Marquess Wilson is out for Sunday’s game.

WR Danny Amendola ($6,600) While Amendola is listed as “questionable” for the game (check status before game time) according to reports he seems likely to play. The Patriots receiving options have been dropping like flies recently (WR Julian Edelman, TE Rob Gronkowski and RB Dion Lewis are all out) leaving the Patriots mighty thin. Amendola should take over the Edelman role as Tom Brady‘s security blanket. The Eagles have been a disaster recently, allowing 90 points in their last two games and the Patriots are likely to be in a bad mood, having just lost their first game of the year.

TE Greg Olsen ($6,600) Olsen should be one of the highest owned player on the slate, but for very good reason. He’s the #1 receiving option on a team projected to score 28 points by Vegas, going up against a defense ranked 32nd in total pass defense and 32nd against the tight end position. Olsen has accounted for 53 receptions for 788 yards and 6 touchdowns on 83 targets. While I normally don’t like spending this much on tight ends, Olsen has out performed several more expensive wide receivers and the match up is a dream.

K Dustin Hopkins ($4,500) Hopkins has had a good season for Washington, making 18 of 20 field-goal attempts, with his only misses coming from 50 yards or more. The Cowboys defense recently has been in “bend don’t break” mode which should allow Hopkins some chances to kick field goals. For the minimum price, we could do much worse.

D/ST Cincinnati Bengals ($5,100) I think the Arizona Cardinals against St Louis might be a better play, but at $5,400, I couldn’t fit them into my roster. The Bengals are a close second, though, as they take on the Austin Davis led Browns. The Bengals boast the 9th overall ranked defense in the NFL and will face the 27th ranked Browns offense.
