Free NFL FanDuel Line Up For Week 10, Sunday 11/15

Every week during the NFL season I’ll be publishing my cash game line up for FanDuel and the rationale behind all my selections. Hopefully, we’ll use this line up to double our money in our cash line ups.

Again, this is my cash game line-up, and while I always put it in a few GPPs, there are other players at a couple of positions better suited for tournaments.

QB Blake Bortles ($7,800) Bortles is one of those players who’s a better fantasy QB than he is a real life QB. While he’s definitely improved from last season, he’s still prone to those game killing turn overs that only cost us two points. Bortles has scored over 22 FanDuel points in three of his last four games and goes up against a Ravens defense that’s been hemorrhaging fantasy points to opposing QBs to the tune of 22.27 per game. Football Outsiders has the Ravens listed as the 28th ranked pass defense and the game boasts a solid 47 point over/under with the Jaguars a five point underdog.

RB Todd Gurley ($9,200) To say the Rams offense revolves around Gurley is an understatement. He has over 750 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns in what amounts to five full games. After a tough game against an elite Vikings run defense, Gurley gets a break against the Chicago Bears, who are ranked 27th overall defensively and 31st against the run. Even though the game features a low over/under, the Rams are solid favorites, so game flow should work in Gurley’s favor.

RB Mark Ingram ($7,500)  While many fantasy players will be chasing last week’s points and targeting the Saints passing game, it’s Ingram who finds himself in a good position to have a solid game in Week 10. The game has an outstanding over/under of 50 points, with the Saints installed as 10 point favorites. The Redskins don’t have the firepower to hang with the Saints and Ingram should be able to feast on a defense ranked 22nd against the run by Football Outsiders. Finally Khiry Robinson is injured, so Ingram won’t have competition for goal line duties.

WR Julian Edelman ($8,000) This game features the highest over/under of the day at 54 1/2, so we’ll need some exposure to this game. Edelman was quiet last week with only 12 FanDuel points, which may limit his ownership levels, but he’s still aveaging over 10 targets a game. He gets a break against a Giants defense that can’t stop the pass and are rated 26th in the NFL in that category.

WR Jarvis Landry ($7,000) Jarvis Landry ranks 14th in the NFL is receiving targets at 76, which is a major stat we’re looking for from our receivers. He has 53 catches for 535 yards with only two TDs. Eventually the touchdowns will catch up. He faces an Eagles team that’s allowing 34.83 FanDuel points per game to opposing wide receivers and are ranked 31st versus opposing #1 receivers by Football Outsiders. The game features a solid 49 point over/under with the Dolphins installed as six point underdogs by Vegas.

WR Marvin Jones ($5,400) Jones is only averaging 9.5 FanDuel points per game, so he’s easy to overlook, but he makes for an excellent play against the Houston Texans. The Texans are ranked 28th in the NFL against opposing #2 WRs and Jones is capable of big games as evidenced by a 20 point breakout versus Buffalo. Cincinnati has an implied Vegas total of nearly 30 points, so there should be plenty of scoring to go around for Bengals skill position players.

TE Jordan Reed ($5,800) Reed is Redskins’ QB Kurt Cousins’ security blanket, when he’s healthy. Reed has been targeted 54 times six games and has produced a 38/368/4 slash. The Saints are brutal against the TE position, allowing 15.76 FanDuel points a game against the position, ranking 29th in the NFL against opposing tight ends, per Football Outsiders. With an over/under of 50 50 and the Redskins installed as 10 point underdogs, expect Washington to be throwing all day.

K Mike Nugent ($4,600)  When it comes to kickers I have four blocks that I try to check: high over/under, favored to win, kicking at home and kicking in a dome. Nugent checks three of four blocks and has enough leg to make long field goals.

D Pittsburgh Steelers ($4,600) The Steelers defense, particularly their run defense, has been playing well recently. The Steelers defense faces a Browns offense ranked 25th overall and featuring a potential turnover machine quarterback in Johnny Manzeil.
