LOL DFS: 4/8/20 LPL & LCK Value Meter (Draftkings)

How sweet it is to have $100k offered up by you! Yes I’m talking to you DraftKings and yes they are offering $100k to first place for tomorrow’s LOL slate. Crazy right? Well not really as the death of sports has contributed to the rise of Esports. This is what the next few months is going to look like y’all, so get used to it and get with it or get lost. But before you get lost, why not join me as we take a look at the slate and where the value lies.

DFS LOL DraftKings Lineup 4/8/20

The Value Stacks:

1) Suning Gaming (SN): Suning has a new roster this split with the departure of SmLz (ADC) and H4cker (Jungle) and the transition hasn’t exactly been pretty. But there is hope as Suning currently sits 1.5 series back from the 8th seed in the LPL which would secure them a spot in playoffs. And guess who sits in that 8th seed right now? None other than OMG who faces off with Suning on tomorrow’s slate. And guess what’s even crazier? SmLz and H4cker who I mentioned earlier are both on OMG this split which means there will be some bad blood in this series. All of the aforementioned points I mentioned means this series will have a lot riding on it and that Suning will be playing in essentially their highest form. Players like huanfeng ($7,000) are just too cheap on this slate as he is averaging a whopping 83.7 DraftKings Points per series while the higher priced SmLz ($7,200) is only averaging an abysmal 56.7 DraftKings Points per series. Throw in Angel ($6,800) who is averaging 75.3 DraftKings Points per series, SofM ($6,000) who is averaging 67.2 DraftKings Points per series and SwordArt ($4,400) who is averaging 53.1 DraftKings Points per series and you have a nice little cheap stack that can allow you to pay up elsewhere.

2) Team WE (WE): This actually might be a somewhat high played stack based solely on the fact that the players on WE have been putting up some insane performances as of late. I mean just look at this: Missing who is the freaking support is averaging 76.1 DraftKings Points per series over his last 5 with a ridiculous range of 52.8 – 93.8. If the support is doing that then what the heck is the rest of the team doing? Beishang who is the jungler is averaging 96.56 DraftKings Points per series over that same span with a range of 72.8 – 117.1. Teacherma who is the mid laner is averaging 96.34 DraftKings Points per series over that same span with a range of 74.1 – 126.5. Morgan who is the top laner is averaging 81.12 DraftKings Points per series over that same span with a range of 69.8 – 102.9. And finally Jiumeng who is the ADC is averaging 112.54 DraftKings Points per series over the same span with a ridiculous range of 95.7 – 138.7.

That’s it for the value stacks but that isn’t it for the value plays! I’ve got a few value one-offs to help you all get the most of your DFS lineups tomorrow.

Value Plays (One-offs):

1) Haro (RW) ($6,200): Haro is the new jungler for Rogue Warriors because their other starter got suspended for 2 years for match-fixing. And let’s just say Haro’s first match back in the starting lineup was not pretty as he had a whopping 23.3 DraftKings Points in what was an 0-2 sweep at the hands of DMO. But since that terrible match we have seen Haro become the main carry for Rogue Warriors as he has averaged 100.55 DraftKings Points per series over his last 2. And that is from a whopping 30 kills and 40 assists total over that same span! We also need to remember that Haro was formerly on EDG for multiple splits so the talent is strong with this one.

2) Viper (ADC) ($6,200): Don’t laugh he’s actually an extremely good ADC even though the team is absolutely in the dump. But things aren’t completely shot as they did take a game off T1 and KT recently mainly due to the performance of Viper in the bot lane. Viper has been consistent all split and is averaging 54.1 DraftKings Points per series even though his team currently sits at 3-12 on the split. Damwon (the opponent) is definitely on a roll, but so was APK, and Griffin had no issue rolling past them behind a 96.9 DraftKings Point performance in that series. The price combined with the potential is just too good if you need help with salary on tomorrow’s slate.
