Pitching

Joe Ross $8,100 @ MIA

It’s just three starts into the season, but according to ESPN’s Cy Young Predictor, if the season ended today Joe Ross would be 5th in Cy Young voting at just 22 years of age. Ross has pitched at an elite level so far this season, as his ERA is just 0.61, but to be fair he has only faced the Marlins and Phillies. Ross pitched 7 solid innings against Miami in his first start of the season and got the W while striking out 5. Miami has scored just 49 runs on the season(22nd in the MLB) and they’ve hit just 7 home runs(29th in MLB) With the Plethora of right-handed bats that the Marlins deploy, Ross makes for the perfect cash game pitcher tonight in Miami.

Chris Archer $8,500 @ BOS

MLB SLEEPERS 4/6People seem to be giving up on Archer so early in the season and we can’t figure out why. He struck out 12 Blue Jays in just 5 innings on Opening Day but struggled against the lefty-filled lineups of the Orioles and Indians. Archer has struck out 28 batters in just 15 and 1/3 innings pitched, and we all know that strikeouts are king in daily fantasy. Archer is no “one-year wonder” he’s a legitimate ace, yet is priced at just $8,500 tonight on DraftKings, take advantage of the reduced price tonight.

Lineup

Eduardo Nunez $3,000 vs. MIL

Nunez has been a breath of fresh air for the Twins after Minnesota started off 0-9 and couldn’t seem to hit the broad side of a barn. Nunez came in for the injured Trevor Plouffe and has batted .500 with a 1.221 OPS. Nunez can hit for power and steal bases, he’s batting in the leadoff spot for the Twins tonight and is just $3,000 on DK.

Yasiel Puig $3,900 @ ATL

mlb dfs 4/19

After a trying season filled with injuries in 2015, Puig has been back to his usual ways, as he’s averaging 9.2 DraftKings points/game this season. Julio Teheran has really struggled this season, as he’s given up 14 earned runs in 17.2 innings pitched. Along with his high ERA, Teheran has also given up 4 home runs on the year already on the year. Even after last night’s let down, liking Dodger’s stack again tonight in Atlanta.

Adrian Gonzalez $4,000 @ ATL

The Dodger’s lineup is stacked but hasn’t lived up to it’s potential yet this season besides on Opening Day when they unloaded for 15 runs against San Diego. The Dodger’s have a plethora of great hitters from top to bottom, but they’ve amassed just 8 home runs on the season. Lefties are hitting .308 against Teheran on the season, and with all of the lefty bats the Dodger’s have, should be a sneaky stack for GPP.

mlb dfs advice 4/20

Stephen Vogt $3,300 @ NYY

There are pretty slim pickings at the catcher position tonight, but Vogt has an excellent matchup tonight hitting in lefty-friendly Yankee Stadium against Nathan Eovaldi. Eovaldi has really struggled against lefties in his career, as lefty batters hit .314 against Eovaldi in 2015. With not many options at catcher, at just $3,300 Vogt has excellent upside tonight as he has homered in 2 of his last 4 games.
