NASCAR DFS: Advice, Best Values for Alsco Uniforms 300

NASCAR DFS

So far in 2021, our NASCAR DFS lineups have preformed pretty well. Our picks for last night’s Truck Series race killed it! We will look to continue that hot streak on the west coast as the Xfinity Series heads to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Alsco Uniforms 300. The green flag is set to fly at 4:30pm/ET on Saturday afternoon.

Before it does however, let’s take a look the top plays, best values and other notable statistics prior to setting your NASCAR DFS lineups on Draftkings. Per the usual, bonus points occur via leading laps, fastest laps and position differential.

Statistics derived from racing-refrence.com and driveraverages.com.

NASCAR DFS: Highly-Priced Drivers

Tyler Reddick: #3 | Our Motorsports – Chevy | $11,600

Tyler Reddick doesn’t have overwhelming statistics going back to 2018 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In fact, his best finish is just 12.75 in his last four appearances there. He has however lead 95 laps and won one race in that time span. What makes the former series champion most appealing is that he will take the green flag from 40th on Saturday afternoon.

Barring a mechanical failure or wreck, he will move up through the field acquiring many coveted bonus points along the way.

Noah Gragson: #9 | JR Motorsports – Chevy | $11,300

JR Motorsports driver Noah Gragson was robbed of a race victory last weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway after a late race tangle with the lapped car of David Starr.

Gragson wasn’t afraid to voice his frustration after the race, and understandably so. The good news is, the series’ heads to another circuit that has offered up favorable performances to Gragson in the past.

Over his last four races at LVMS, Gragson has three top-5’s, four top-10’s and two laps lead. He starts Saturday’s race from the 34th position so there will be plenty of position differential points for the taking.

Justin Allgaier: #7 | JR Motorsports – Chevy | $11,000

Justin Allgaier is the model of consistency when it comes to Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In his last six starts at the 1.5-mile speedway, the Jr Motorsports diver has four top-5’s, five top-10’s and 106 laps lead during that span.

We’ll keep playing the same tune when it comes to position differential points, because Allgaier too will start deep in the field from p37. He’s one of the safest plays for cash games, but can also be considered a staple for GPP’s.

NASCAR DFS: Mid-Range Drivers

Riley Herbst: #98 | Team DGR – Ford | $9,000

There is not a lot of great statistical data to go off of when it comes to placing Riley Herbst in your NASCAR DFS lineups. In just three career Xfinity Series starts at LVMS, the young driver has two top-10 finishes. He’s also yet to knotch a top-10 in 2021, but I firmly believe he snaps that drought on Saturday.

He starts the race from p.12. He’s solid for cash games.

Brett Moffitt: #02 | Our Motorsports – Chevy | $8,400

Our Motorsports has themselves a solid veteran driver whom is still relatively young holding down the entire Xfinity Series season in the No. 02 Chevrolet. Moffitt has started 2021 off in a strong way, recording finishes of p.2, p.11, and p.8 through three races. He has also ran upfront in all three.

He starts Saturday’s race from the seventh starting spot, so there will not be a ton of bonus points available for moving upward through the grid, but I have a gut feeling we could see Moffitt upfront leading some laps. He is priced at an affordable $8.4k and has been consistent. He’s another perfect driver for cash contest’s.

Myatt Snider: #2 | Richard Childress Racing – Chevy | $8,000

Myatt Snider of Richard Childress Racing recorded his first career victory within the Xfinity Series last weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Snider took the lead on the 1.5-mile course late in the race, and now finds himself starting this Saturday’s race from the pole position.

Snider has also begun this year well, with finishes of p.7, p.13 and p.1. In three races he’s already scored 123 total fantasy points on Draftkings. It’s always risky starting someone starting from the pole in GPP’s but given the similarities in tracks from last weekend to this weeks, I highly believe Snider will score bonus points via leading a good portion of the race.

NASCAR DFS: Values

Josh Williams: #92 | DGM Racing – Chevy | $6,000

Joe Graf Jr: #7 | SS Green Light Racing – Chevy | $4,800

Both Josh Williams and Joe Graf Jr. have been running well on 1.5 mile tracks going back to last year, and were our values for last week’s Xfinity series race at HMS. In that race, they both started inside of the top-15. This week, they’re our value plays again, except this time we get the benefit of them starting 24th and 26th respectively.

Williams is priced in at $6k and Graf Jr at just $4.8k. There are a lot of start and parks down here in the pricing. Neither of these guys are going to blatantly do that, so both have some upside, so to speak.
