Natus Vincere won DreamHack ZOWIE Open Leipzig

With a massive win of a $50,000 Na’Vi also known as Natus Vincere took the trophy for the first place at DreamHack ZOWIE Open Leipzig.
The comprehensive 2-0 grand final didn’t come easy for the Ukraine team as both maps went into overtime and got finalized at the score being 19 – 15 for Na’Vi.
Luminosity Gaming who has shown a very solid gameplay throughout the DreamHack ZOWIE Open Leipzig had to say goodbye to the trophy after they gave away the winning lead in both maps in the finals granting them only 20 000 dollars from the prizepool.

The new kids from the block, or at least the newest team Astralis had to walk away with a 3rd and 4th place, sharing it with dignitas and placing 10 000 dollars into their funds.

After two maps (de_train and de_cbbl) the newest addition to Na’Vi’s team, flamie, had the score of a 69-43 with a headshot ratio of 55,1% – with the astonishing thirtybombs in both maps, it is easy to say that for us at GoingFor2 Egor ‘flamie‘ Vasilyev is surely the MVP for Dreamhack ZOWIE Open.

First month of the year hasn’t yet ended, but it has already been a busy month for the guys at Na’Vi placing 2nd @ SL i-League StarSeries from where they pocketed $40 000.

For Na’Vi it was a desirable win, as the last DreamHack that Na’Vi won dates back to 2010 and back to the Counter Strike 1.6 era.
