NBA DFS (DraftKings) – Sunday 12/9
Hello all, before we get to why you’re here let me take a second to introduce myself. I’m Trevor Baldwin, I will be contributing for Goingfor2 in the NBA DFS. Okay now let’s get down to why you clicked this link, I am going to be covering the four ball games in the association this afternoon. From each game I will pick three players, one will be listed under “Shoot” that’s my top play of the day at his position. “And 1” this is a player with a low-price, high-upside. “Airball” this is a player that I would be avoiding for this game.
Pelicans @ Pistons
Shoot: Anthony Davis
I know he has a tough matchup with Andre Drummond, and Blake Griffin. The pistons OPRK against PF/Cs is 8th. But in the last 10 games the brow has averaged 61.2 FPPG. His salary is pricey at $13,400, but in my opinion the brow is a must start I do not care what the OPRK ranks say.
And 1: Bruce Brown Jr.
At a salary of $3,800, Brown Jr has averaged 9.9 FPPG this season while playing 17.4 minutes a game. With the injury to Ish Smith and Bullock and Johnson being questionable, I would play Brown Jr. In his past 10 games he has averaged 10.9 FPPG
Airball: Nikola Mirotic
I’m a big fan of this guy in NBA DFS however, Friday night he played just 20 minutes with just 6.5 fantasy points coming off the bench. Returning from an illness that had him sidelined for 2 games. Owners may want to keep an eye to see whether he will come be on the court come tip-off or, another coming of the bench role.
Honorable Mentions: Jrue Holiday, Andre Drummond, Blake Griffin
Bucks @ Raptors
Shoot: Giannis Antetokounmpo
This is the game I look forward to watching the most Sunday, 2 of the top 3 teams in the east going at it! At $11,200 the Greek freak has averaged 57.0 FPPG, in his last ten he’s averaged 60.0 FPPG. He is another one of those players that it’s almost a no brainer.

And 1: Malcolm Brogdon
In the first meeting earlier this season Brogdon had 26.8 fantasy points. His $5,800 salary is a fair price as he is averaging 27.7 FPPG this season. In the last 10 games he has seen a slight rise in that department, over that span he is averaging 31.3 FPPG.
Airball: Kyle Lowry
Mr. Lowrys salary is $7600 he is averaging 38.8 FPPG. However, he has a tough matchup Sunday the Bucks are number 5 in OPRK. He has also seen a slight decline, over the past 10 games Lowry averaged 36.0 FPPG.
Honorable Mentions: Kris Middleton, Kawhi Leonard, Eric Bledsoe
Jazz @ Spurs
Shoot: Rudy Gobert
His salary is at $8200 and he’s averaging 39.4 FPPG. He should be well rested as he got ejected early in Thursday nights win over the rockets. When they played the spurs last Tuesday he had 43.5 fantasy points. I believe he will put up similar numbers Sunday.
And 1: Joe Ingles
Coming from down under with a salary of $5900 and averaging 28.2 FPPG. In the last meeting Tuesday, Ingles had 33.8 fantasy points. This a safe play for a not to bad of price.
Airball: Rudy Gay
His salary is $5600 and he’s averaging 27.9 FPPG. The reason I am choosing gay over Lamarcus Aldridge is because, last Tuesday when these two teams played in Utah, Gay had 3.8 fantasy points and 0 real points. Now I am going to break my rule and throw Lamarcus Aldridge in this “Airball”. He has trouble with Gobert, lots of big men do. In Tuesday’s loss Aldridge had 25.3 fantasy points. I expect him to have nothing special tomorrow as well.
Honorable Mentions: Ricky Rubio, Donovan Mitchell, DeMar DeRozan
Hornets @ Knicks
Shoot: Kemba Walker
With a salary of $8500, 44.3 FPPG this year, Kemba is having a consistent year overall. I remember that old Big East tournament back in 2010 or 2011 were young Kemba let the world know (If they didn’t already) who Kemba Walker was in MSG! Anyways safe play here.
And 1: Marvin Williams
For $4900 the 13 year veteran is averaging 20.9 FPPG. Over his last 10 games he is averaging 23.4 FPPG. For that price and his matchup 28th OPRK Sunday against the Knickerboppers. Solid play.
Airball: Tim Hardaway Jr
A salary of $6700 and 32.5 FPPG, Hardaway Jr has a tough matchup. The knicks OPRK is 9th for SG/SF.
Honorable Mentions : Enes Kanter, Jeremy Lamb, Emmanuel Mudiay
