NBA DFS FanDuel Advice 4/27/16

What’s up, GF2 fans! I’m back at it again with my weekly NBA DFS FanDuel advice! We’re going to take a look at Wednesday night’s crucial three-game slate that is bound to be super interesting. With guys such as Stephen Curry, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin all missing in action due to injuries, the value plays are through the roof! So, what I’m going to do is give you guys a preview of the lineup that I plan on rolling with for this slate.

So, here’s my NBA DFS FanDuel advice for 4/27/16:

Point Guards

Damian Lillard, vs. Clippers ($8,000)

With Paul out for the rest of the playoffs, Lillard should have a much easier time getting to the basket. Paul has a keen ability to slow down opposing team’s point guards, so I’m super excited to get a big time player at a mid-tier price tag. So far this series against the Clippers, Lillard has averaged a solid 39.4 FanDuel points per night for the Blazers and will have the chance to surpass that total, so he’ll be in all of my lineups on Wednesday evening.

Shaun Livingston, vs. Rockets ($4,400)

The loss of Curry greatly affects every player on this Warriors team in a positive way typically from a fantasy standpoint. Over his last four games against Houston, Livington has averaged a cool 27.1 FanDuel points per contest for Golden State. Even though he draws a tough defensive matchup against Patrick Beverley, I expect him to at least bring us 5 or 6x his value.

Shooting Guards

James Harden, vs. Warriors ($10,500)

Harden is my top overall option for this slate! Now that Curry is out for the rest of this series, the spotlight is now on Harden, who will hopefully be his dominant self once again for this slate. Over his last three games against the Warriors, he’s averaged an insane 51.3 FanDuel points per night for the Rockets. This year, Golden State hasn’t been the greatest defensive squad, so I’m expecting some monster numbers from Harden in this critical elimination game.

Klay Thompson, vs. Rockets ($7,600)

It’s crazy, I never pay up at the shooting guard spot but for this slate, I feel that it’s a must. This series, Thompson has been a very consistent DFS option for us all, averaging a solid 34.9 FanDuel points per outing for Golden State. Like I’ll say a hundred times in this article, with Curry out everyone else is going to have to step it up and Thompson will most likely be one of those players.

Small Forwards

Joe Johnson, vs. Hornets ($4,700)

Okay, let’s take a break from the Warriors versus Rockets game… Johnson is one of those lower-tier, sneaky options that can produce some scary good fantasy numbers on any given night. Last time out against Charlotte, he played 35 minutes for Miami, scoring a nice 27.4 FanDuel points. In all four games of this series, Johnson has played 26+ minutes per night for the Heat, so he will see plenty of time on the court to do some much-needed damage.

Andre Iguodala, vs. Rockets ($4,300)

Alright, let’s get back to the main event of this slate! In the game that Curry missed during this series, Iggy came up big for our DFS lineups, playing 33 minutes and scoring 31.3 FanDuel points that night. I can’t deny just how valuable this guy is both in reality and the fantasy world, so he’ll be a big part of my lineups for this slate!

Power Forwards

Draymond Green, vs. Rockets ($8,800)

At just $8,800, Green is by far one of the most obvious upper-tier plays for this slate! The guy is a triple-double machine and should have no problems handling this porous Houston defense on Wednesday night. Over the last four games, Draymond has averaged a solid 36.3 FanDuel points per contest for Golden State and will be heavily relied on by his teammates on both ends of the court for this slate.

Frank Kaminsky, vs. Heat ($3,600)

I’m not overly excited about using Kaminsky but I’ve got to reach somewhere to get the top-notch players that I want. Over his last two games, he has received 25+ minutes per night for the Hornets, so that’s a positive sign in my opinion. In Game 3, Kaminsky looked very good, playing 35 minutes and scoring a cool 27.7 FanDuel points.

Center

DeAndre Jordan, vs. Blazers ($8,000)

With both Paul and Griffin out, Jordan is the only real star left on this Clippers squad. So far during this series against Portland, he has averaged a nice 38.7 FanDuel points per game for Los Angeles. With no other center really impressing me for this slate, I’m going to look towards Jordan as my obvious top go-to option and hope that he puts in a monster effort.
