NBA DFS FanDuel Advice for 12/22/16

What’s up, GF2 fans! I’m back with my free NBA DFS FanDuel advice for the 12/22/16 slate of games. Thursday’s main slate will consist of a small five-game slate. Even on a little slate like this one, I still see plenty of solid plays to choose from. In this article I’m going to give you guys a couple of nice value plays to roll with for each position, so let’s get started.

Here are my NBA DFS FanDuel value plays for 12/22/16:

Point Guard

Derrick Rose, vs. ORL ($6,400)

NBA FanDuel Lineup 12/22/16Rose is coming off of a nice game against the Pacers on Tuesday night and will look to continue that for this slate. Yes, he’ll be facing off against a slower tempo Magic squad but on a small slate, we’ll look past that. This year, Rose has managed to average a cool 28 FD points per game for his owners. So far this season, Orlando has given up an average of 44.4 FD points per game to opposing point guards.

Related Articles

Tyler Johnson, vs. LAL ($5,700)

Johnson could be in store for a monster game once again on Thursday night in a matchup against a terrible Lakers defense. This season, Los Angeles has allowed an average of 46.2 FD points per game to opposing point guards. Johnson is a potent scoring threat for the Heat, averaging 13.4 points per game for his squad. This year, he has managed to average a smooth 26.2 FD points per outing for his owners.

Shooting Guard

Evan Fournier, @ NYK ($6,000)

Fournier is right on the cusp of not being a value play anymore but we’ll at least have him for this slate. In four of his last six games, he has scored 36+ FD points per outing for his owners. This season, Fournier has managed to average a solid 26.4 FD points per game for his loyal owners. So far in 2016, the Knicks have allowed an average of 38.1 FD points per contest to opposing shooting guards.

Nick Young, @ MIA ($4,600)

I don’t love this matchup for the Lakers but it’ll do on a small slate. Young has been playing really well for Los Angeles in 2016, so I’ll make an exception for him. This year, he’s managed to average a decent 19.9 FD points per outing for his team. Over his last four games, Young has scored 21+ FD points per contest, which is fairly close to his value. So far this year, the Heat have given up an average of 34.6 FD points per game to opposing shooting guards.

Small Forward

Justise Winslow, vs. LAL ($4,700)

The kid is officially back and is one of my favorite values of the night! In three of his last four games, Winslow has scored 21+ FD points per outing for his owners. This year, he’s managed to average a super consistent 23.1 FD points per game for his DFS owners. Over their last five games, the Lakers have given up an average a league-worst 47.8 FD points per contest to opposing small forwards.

Luol Deng, @ MIA ($4,600)

Deng will have the revenge narrative going into this game and will hopefully draw the start. In five of his last six games, Luol has scored 25+ FD points per contest for the Lakers. This season, he’s managed to average a nice 18.5 FD points per game for his fantasy owners. He’ll be facing off against a Heat team that has allowed an average of 38.1 FD points per contest to opposing small forwards in 2016.

Power Forward

Trevor Booker, vs. GSW ($5,500)

NBA FanDuel Lineup 12/22/16Booker has been a bit lackluster over his last few games but I’m feeling a bounce back performance for Thursday night. This season, he’s managed to average a cool 26.8 FD points per game for his owners. Booker should see close to 27 minutes in this game, which will give him ample opportunities to score us points. So far this year, the Warriors have allowed an average of 42.2 FD points per game to opposing power forwards.

Thaddeus Young, vs. BOS ($5,000)

Young isn’t the most consistent Indiana fantasy player but with Monta Ellis out he’ll have a chance to shine. In his last game, he finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and two steals in 37 minutes of action. This year, Young has managed to average a smooth 23.1 FD points per game for his owners. So far this season, the Celtics have given up an average of 43.2 FD points per outing to opposing power forwards.

Center

Bismack Biyombo, @ NYK ($4,700)

I’ll more than likely pay up for a guy such as Hassan Whiteside for this slate at center. If you’re feeling like gambling, though, Biyombo may just be your guy. In five of his last six games, Bismack has scored 23+ FD points per outing for his owners. This season, Biyombo has averaged a solid 20 FD points per game. Over their last five games, New York has allowed an average of 52.2 FD points per contest to opposing centers.

Well, those are my favorite NBA DFS FanDuel value plays for the 12/22/16 slate of games. Hopefully, with my advice, you all will win some cash on Thursday night. Thanks for reading and good luck!
