NBA DFS FanDuel Advice for 3/2/17
What’s up, GF2 fans! I’m back with my free NBA DFS FanDuel advice for the 3/2/16 slate of games. Thursday’s main slate will consist of a small three-game schedule. I still see plenty of solid plays to choose from, especially on the value side. In this article, I’m going to give you guys a couple of nice plays to roll with for each position, so let’s get started!
Point Guard
Top Play: Damian Lillard, vs. OKC ($9,100)
If you’re looking for a nice pivot option off of Russell Westbrook and Stephen Curry, Lillard is your man. So far this season, he’s managed to average a super solid 43.3 FPPG for his DFS owners. This year, Lillard is averaging 26.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 35.6 minutes per game for the Blazers. This season, the Thunder have allowed an average of 44.9 FD points per outing to opposing point guards.
Value Pick: Rajon Rondo, vs. GSW ($5,200)
Rondo has been a killer option off of the bench for Chicago as of late! Over his last three games, he’s scored 28+ FPPG for his owners and draws a nice matchup for Thursday night. So far this year, the Warriors have given up an average of 42.8 FD points per contest to opposing point guards. This season, Rondo has managed to average a cool 25.4 FPPG for his loyal owners.
Shooting Guard
Top Play: Klay Thompson, @ CHI ($7,000)
With Kevin Durant now out for at least a month, Klay will have to pick up some of the scoring efforts for Golden State. So far this season, he’s managed to average a nice 32.9 FPPG for his owners. This year, Thompson has averaged 21.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 33.5 minutes per game for the Warriors. Over their last five games, the Bulls have allowed an average of 39.2 FD points per outing to opposing shooting guards.
Value Pick: Jeremy Lamb, @ PHO ($3,900)
Lamb isn’t the most consistent fantasy option but when he has his shot on, he’s deadly. So far this year, he’s managed to average a decent 17.7 FPPG for his loyal owners. Hopefully, Charlotte’s coaching staff will allow Lamb to get extra minutes in a fast-paced matchup versus Phoenix. This season, the Suns have given up an average of 36.4 FD points per game to opposing shooting guards.
Small Forward
Top Play: Jimmy Butler, vs. GSW ($9,000)
Butler was an absolute bust for Tuesday night’s slate, so I’m hoping he’ll bounce back versus Golden State. So far this season, he’s averaging 23.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists in 36.3 minutes per game for the Bulls. This year, Butler has managed to average a super solid 43.1 FPPG for his DFS owners. This season, the Warriors have allowed an average of 36.2 FD points per outing to opposing small forwards.
Value Pick: Andre Iguodala, @ CHI ($4,800)

Iggy will be a super consistent DFS option while Durant is on the shelf for the Warriors. So far this year, he’s managed to average a moderate 19.3 FPPG for his loyal owners. This season, Iguodala has averaged 6.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 25.5 minutes per game for Golden State. This year, the Bulls have given up an average of 38.3 FD points per contest to opposing small forwards.
Power Forward
Top Play: Draymond Green, @ CHI ($8,300)
I really like Green’s price tag in what should be a very fun matchup versus Chicago! So far this season, the Bulls have allowed an average of 40.0 FD points per contest to opposing power forwards. This year, Green has managed to average a consistent 38.1 FPPG for his owners. This season, Draymond has averaged 10.0 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.3 assists in 32.3 minutes per game for the Warriors.
Value Pick: Marquese Chriss, vs. CHA ($4,500)
It’s looking like the Phoenix coaching staff is finally moving toward a youth movement with their roster. In three of his last four games, Chriss has played 25+ minutes per game and draws a juicy matchup for Thursday evening. Over their last five games, the Hornets have given up an average of 47.9 FD points per contest to opposing power forwards. In three of his last four games, Chriss has scored 22+ FPPG for his owners.
Center
Top Play: Steven Adams, @ POR ($6,000)
There just really aren’t very many good options to choose from at center for this slate, so Adams wins by default. So far this season, he’s managed to average a cool 27.6 FPPG for his DFS owners. This year, he’s averaging 12.1 points and 7.9 rebounds in 30.4 minutes per game for the Thunder. This season, the Blazers have allowed an average of 47.3 FD points per game to opposing centers.
Value Pick: Alan Williams, vs. CHA ($4,900)
I really enjoy attacking Charlotte’s lackluster group of post defenders for my DFS lineups! So far this year, the Hornets have given up an average of 47.7 FD points per contest to opposing centers. Over his last three games, Williams has scored 20+ FPPG for his owners and should have plenty of value for this slate of games.
Well, those are my NBA DFS value plays for the 3/2/16 slate of games. Hopefully, with my advice, you guys will prosper on Thursday night. Thanks for reading and good luck, everyone!
