NBA DFS FanDuel Advice: Values 2/3/16

What’s up, GF2 fans! it’s time once again for my NBA DFS FanDuel advice for the Wednesday slate of games. After doing a little research, I’ve discovered some great value plays for you guys. Like always, all of my value plays will be at or under $6,000.

So, here’s my NBA DFS FanDuel advice for 2/3/16:

Point Guards

George Hill, vs. Nets ($5,900)

You’ll see a lot of Indiana players make it into my value plays for this slate. This year, Hill has been ultra-consistent for the Pacers, averaging 24.2 FD points per contest and draws a great matchup for this slate. He’ll be taking on a Nets team, who has allowed an average of 42.5 FD points per night to opposing point guards this season. I believe Hill should be able to meet his standard value with no problems at all.

Elfrid Payton, vs. Thunder ($5,600)

The Thunder surprisingly don’t defend well against opposing point guards this year, giving up an average of 45.2 FD points per contest over their last five outings. This year, Payton has been a nice option for Orlando, averaging 24.5 FD points per game for the team. Hopefully, the Magic will be able to keep this game remotely close, which will greatly help Payton’s chances of having a nice DFS night.

Shooting Guards

Rodney Hood, vs. Nuggets ($5,900)NBA DFS FanDuel Advice

I thoroughly enjoy streaming players against this bad Nuggets defense. So far this season, Denver has been atrocious on defense, giving up an average of 39.5 FD points per night over their last five games. This year, Hood has been hot and cold but has been solid lately, averaging 22.7 FD points per game for the season. I like Hood as a cheap, viable option for Wednesday night’s slate without a doubt.

Avery Bradley, vs. Pistons ($5,800)

I may like Bradley slightly more than Hood for this slate. Bradley has played some stellar basketball over the last few weeks for Boston. So far this year, he’s averaged a cool 23.6 FD points per night. The Pistons defend well against most positions, but they aren’t great versus shooting guards, giving up an average of 35.3 FD points per contest to the position this year.

Small Forwards

Kent Bazemore, vs. 76ers ($4,900)

Bazemore is a value guy who I refuse to use unless he has a perfect matchup. Well, on Wednesday evening he draws a matchup against a dreadful Philly team, who has allowed an average of 38.4 FD points per contest to small forwards this season. So far this year, Bazemore has been a solid option for the Hawks, averaging 23.2 FD points per night. I expect him to at least meet his average value for this slate of games.

Harrison Barnes, vs. Wizards ($4,300)

Wow, are the Wizards horrible versus opposing small forwards this year! So far this season, Washington has given up a league-worst 38.8 FD points per night to small forwards. I’m not expecting crazy numbers from Barnes, but I do expect him to have a nice overall night for DFS purposes. This year, Barnes has been a go-to option for Golden Sate, averaging 21.2 FD points per night.

Power Forwards

NBA DFS FanDuel AdviceMyles Turner, vs. Nets ($5,500)

Check out this guy’s stats over the last few weeks, he’s been an absolute monster! Over his last six games, Turner has averaged an amazing 32.5 FD points per contest and should have no problems against the Nets on Wednesday evening. He’ll be taking on a Brooklyn squad, who has given up an average of 48.5 FD points per night over their last five games. I expect big things once again from Turner for this slate.

Taj Gibson, vs. Kings ($5,300)

I love the value plays at power forward for this slate. If DeMarcus Cousins misses once again on Wednesday, I think Gibson’s value will increase even more. Over his last four games, he has played at least 30 minutes and has averaged 20.6 FD points per contest this year. Over their last five games, Sacramento has been awful defensively against power forwards, giving up an average of 47.1 FD points per night to the position.

Centers

Gorgui Dieng, vs. Clippers ($5,500)

Dieng is easily one of my favorite value plays for this slate of games. He’s been great as of late, averaging a cool 36.8 FD points per contest over his last three games. He’ll be facing off against a bad Clippers defense, who has allowed an average of 47.6 FD points per game to opposing centers this year. I love Dieng as a solid pivot option away from some of the top guys.

Jordan Hill, vs. Nets ($4,700)

With Ian Mahinmi most likely out once again for Wednesday night, Hill will receive another start for the Pacers and possibly my DFS rosters. Over his last two games, Hill has averaged a solid 38.1 FD points per contest and draws a juicy matchup for this slate. This year, Brooklyn has been one of the worst defensive teams in the league, giving up an average of 48.8 FD points per night to opposing centers.
