NBA DFS FanDuel Advice: Values 3/4/16

What’s up, GF2 fans! I’m back one again with my NBA DFS FanDuel value plays for you guys. Friday night’s slate consists of 10 games on the schedule that shouldn’t disappoint any of us avid FanDuel players. There are a ton of great value players to choose from, so I’ve decided to give you guys plenty of options to choose from in this article. Like always, all of my value plays will be at or under $6,000.

So, here’s my NBA DFS FanDuel value plays for 3/4/16:

Point Guards

Emmanuel Mudiay, vs. Nets ($5,400)

I had lofty expectations for Mudiay coming into this season but he quickly disappointed me with his inconsistent play. Well, lately it seems as if he has finally found his rhythm for the Nuggets, averaging 23.8 FD points per contest for the team. He’ll be going head-to-head with one of the worst overall defenses in the league in the Nets, who have given up an average of 46.5 FD points per outing over their last five games to opposing point guards.

Donald Sloan, vs. Nuggets ($4,800)

I firmly believe that there is going to be a ton of value plays that come from this game. Sloan isn’t a typical guy that I talk a lot about, but his solid play on the court always seems to grab my attention. Over his last five games, he has averaged a cool 25.4 FD points per contest for his loyal DFS owners and draws a tasty matchup for this slate. He’ll be taking on a terrible Nuggets defense, who has allowed an average of 42.5 FD points per game to opposing point guards this season.

Shooting Guards

Zach LaVine, vs. Bucks ($5,300)

I became a big LaVine fan after watching him in last year’s Slam Dunk contest. Since then, not only has he won his second dunk contest but has also really matured as a player. Over his last three games, Lavine has averaged a solid 30 FD points per night for the Wolves and has seen his playing time increase a lot over the last few weeks. Over their last five games, Milwaukee has allowed an average of 40.3 FD points per contest to opposing shooting guards. I’m ready to see the show that both LaVine and Khris Middleton put on against one another on Friday evening.

Gary Harris, vs. Nets ($4,800)

Like Sloan, Harris is a bit of an unattractive DFS option, but he’s fairly consistent and cheap. Over his last four games, he has averaged a cool 23.7 FD points per contest for Denver and draws an obviously great matchup against Brooklyn. This season, the Nets have allowed an average of 37 FD points per night to opposing shooting guards. Since Danilo Gallinari is injured, someone has to step it up for the Nuggets, so hopefully on Friday night, it’s Harris.

Small Forwards

Kent Bazemore, vs. Lakers ($4,800)

There weren’t many great value options at small forward for this slate. I mostly like Bazemore because of his insanely great matchup against the Lakers. Over their last five games, Los Angeles has given up an average of 47.7 FD points per contest to opposing small forwards. Bazemore has had an up and down year for Atlanta but has found some consistency lately. Over his last three games, he has averaged a solid 27.1 FD points per outing for his DFS owners.

Bojan Bogdanovic, vs. Nuggets ($4,000)

This game is easily my favorite one to pull a few value plays from! Since Joe Johnson left the team for Miami, Bogdanovic has stepped up in his absence, averaging 29.3 FD points per contest over his last two games. He’ll be facing off against a terrible Denver defense who doesn’t defend well at all against any position. This year, the Nuggets have allowed an average of 35.1 FD points per game to opposing shooting guards. If you’re looking to save a little cash at small forward, look no further than Bojan!

Power Forwards

Jabari Parker, vs. Wolves ($5,900)

If you’ve played DFS over the last month then there’s honestly no reason at all you shouldn’t already know that Parker is a great option. Over his last five games, he has been brilliant for the Bucks, averaging 31.5 FD points per contest. He’ll be taking on a subpar Minnesota defense, who has allowed an average of 40.4 FD points per night to opposing per forwards this season. Parker will be in a lot of my lineups come Friday evening!

Mirza Teletovic, vs. Magic ($4,700)

As a whole, Orlando just isn’t very good defensively, allowing an average of 40.4 FD points per contest to opposing power forwards thus far. Teletovic has burst onto the DFS scene over the last month. Over his last three games, he has averaged a cool 30.4 FD points per outing and should have no problems at all with this matchup. Teletovic is especially great if he gets hot from behind the arc.

Centers

Robin Lopez, vs. Celtics ($5,700)

When searching for a viable value option at center for DFS purposes, I always look to Lopez. He’s been the model of consistency at his position for the DFS world all season long, averaging 21.6 FD points per contest for us all. He’ll be facing off against a Celtics squad that has been treacherous at guarding the center position this year, allowing an average of 47.7 FD points per game to the position. I’ll most likely going to pay up at the center spot on FanDuel but I will have a few lineups that contain Lopez.

Alex Len, vs. Magic ($5,300)

Len is quickly becoming the best center for the Suns. Over his last two games, he has averaged an insanely good 38.3 FD points per night for Phoenix. He’ll be taking on a terrible Orlando defense that just doesn’t seem to have the answer against opposing centers. Over their last five games, the Magic have given up an average of 48.7 FD points per night to the position, so take a look at Len for some of your lineups.
