NBA DFS Fanduel Lineup Advice: Value 1/18/16
Whats’s up NBA Fanduel fans! I’m going to apologize for not being able to put up any content for a while, I’ve been busy doing some housekeeping on the site. I still have a few great things coming soon that I have yet to roll out, one of which will be our own Podcast that I’m hoping to have ready to go in early February. But that’s not why you’re here, let’s get to tonight’s values…
Note I will be referencing the CVP Chart for today, you can view it here.
Point Guard
Dennis Schroder, Hawks $5,300
Schroder’s CVP of 4.81 is a little skewed by his recent 40-plus fantasy point explosion, but even before that he had outplaying incumbent starter, Jeff Teague. I don’t think Schroder will pass Teague on the depth chart, but he should continue to see good minutes and continue to produce.
Derrick Rose, Bulls $6,000
Rose once again makes it to my value list. I had him here the other night, and though he didn’t flop, he wasn’t what I had hoped scoring only 28 fanduel points. He gets another good matchup with the Pistons tonight so look for him to go over 30 tonight.
Shooting Guard
J.J. Redick, Clippers $5,200
Redick had been underperforming over his last few games until his semi-explosion against the Kings. I’m expecting similar production tonight. Why do you ask? Shooters are streaky and when they are hot you want to ride them, not to mention the Rockets aren’t a good defensive team.
Tony Allen, Grizzlies $4,500
Allen has come back to earth somewhat after his string of 30-plus fanduel point games, but a matchup with the Pelicans will help remedy his minor slump. He is still getting a ton of minutes and the Pels are good enough to keep it close. Look for another 30 points performance tonight.
Small Forward
Tobias Harris, Magic $5,600
Victor Oladipo has been ruled out for this game, so somebody is going to have to pick up the slack, and I expect that somebody to be Harris. He still gets minutes in the high 30’s and is the type of player that can fill up the box score. The Hawks also struggle defending the three position, so Harris could be in for a big game.

Robert Covington, 76ers $4,700
It seems like every time this guy starts to get it going, he has an off game or two and gets benched. Well, he is back in the good graces and has gotten some decent court time over the last few games. He has a good matchup with the Knicks and at $4,700 he is worth rostering for his upside.
Power Forward
Taj Gibson, Bulls $4,800
With Joakim Noah out for what amounts to the entire season, Gibson won’t stay a value much longer. Use him while he is still under 5k.
Nene Hilario, Wizards $4,200
This is a bit of risky pick, more so than usual, but with all the injuries the Wizards have, Nene is going to see a good amount of minutes versus a Blazers team that got a beating at the hands of the 76ers!
Center
Robin Lopez, Knicks $4,500
Not much value at center tonight, at least as I write this, you never know what will change as news breaks. Lopez has been very inconsistent and had an awful showing in his last game in which Marc Gasol abused the interior defense of the Knicks. The 76ers fresh off a victory will want to get back to their losing ways, otherwise, they may not get another No. 1 pick this year. Winning streaks aren’t allowed if you wear a Sixers jersey, so Lopez should benefit from this matchup.
