NBA DFS (DraftKings) – Tuesday 12/18
Welcome back, everyone sorry that I have not posted for the past few days had a lot going on personally.
I am back and ready for Tuesday nights action, we have only four games on the board for tonight. Therefore there is not going to be much depth to the players I will have on my column.
It feels good to be back writing I am going to start making sure I have one out every day especially since the NFL season is winding down fantasy wise!
First, I would like to welcome all the newcomers who are here if they got eliminated from the fantasy football playoffs, it was a rather low scoring weekend.
Somehow, I managed to make it to the final round without Melvin Gordon and all the other low production from players. If he’s not back by next week I don’t see myself getting lucky again!
For the newcomers how I rate my players goes as following, Under “Shoot” I will have a player that I think is due for a good game. ” And 1” is a player that has a lower price with a high upside. The last one is” Airball” is the player that I believe is going to have a more challenging night due to the matchup.
Point Guard:
Shoot: John Wall (@ Hawks)
After he exploded Sunday night against the Lakers with 79.5 DK points, expect Wall to be drafted a lot Tuesday night. His salary is priced at $9,800, going up against an Atlanta squad who is 20th in OPRK at PG. Wall is also putting up 44.1 DK points this season, I expect him to have another nice night but expect him to put up no 70 points.

And 1: Monte Morris (@ Nuggets)
Morris has had a very consistent season thus far, averaging 21.7 FPPG in just 24.8 minutes played a game. His price is $4,700 which is a bargain considering he has been putting up 25 FPPG in his past ten games.
Airball: Josh Hart (@ Nets)
Hart has a salary at $4,400 and his averaging 18.6 FPPG. However, in his last ten his FPPG has slightly regressed to 16.4 FPPG. Going up against a Nets team who is 3rd in OPRK verses PGs, for that reason I would consider fading him for this evenings matchup.
Honorable Mentions: Victor Oladipo ($9,100), D’Angelo Russell ($8,100), Trae Young ($6,400)
Shooting Guard:
Shoot: Bradley Beal (@ Hawks)
Beals performance is Sunday nights win over the Lakers may have gone unnoticed due to Wall going crazy! but Beal is averaging 39.5 FPPG with a salary of 8,500. In the first meeting with Atlanta Beal, put up 58.5 DK points and has a favorable match-up since The Hawks are ranked 30th in OPRK vs SGs.
And 1: Rodney Hood (@ Pacers)
With a salary just under $5,000 at $4,900, Hood is averaging 21.1 FPPG for Cleveland this season. In the previous game against the Pacers this season, Hood put up a nice line finishing with 31.8 DK points.
Airball: Jordan Clarkson (@ Pacers)
Clarkson is averaging 25.8 FPPG this season, with a salary at $6,100. I really am fading him due to the fact that the Pacers are 1st in OPRK against PG/SGs and in the first meeting of this year held Clarkson to just 17.3 DK points.
Honorable Mentions: Kent Bazemore ($6,300), Luka Doncic ($7,700), Jamal Murray ($6,600)
Small Forward:
Shoot: LeBron James (@ Nets)
Averaging an even 52.0 FPPG this season, LeBron still putting up huge numbers like the past years. His salary is $10,600, Brooklyn ranks 11th in OPRK against SF/PFs but LeBron is one of those exceptions where that stat really does not matter because well, it’s LeBron James.
And 1: Jeff Green (@ Hawks)
Green is putting up 21.0 FPPG this season and, has a good bargain salary tonight for his match-up against Atlanta. The Hawks are 28th in OPRK against SF/PFs. I like this match-up for the price and will definitely have Green in one of my lineups.
Airball: Cedi Osman (@ Pacers)
The Pacers defense is ranked 1st in OPRK against SF/PFs. In the first meeting between the two teams Osman finished with just 17.5 DK fantasy points. He is priced at $4,700, and averaging 23.0 FPPG.
Honorable Mentions: Kyle Kuzma ($7,500), Harrison Barnes ($5,400), Joe Harris ($4,900)
Power Forward:
Shoot: John Collins (@ Hawks)
Over his ten games Collins, has averaged 39.8 FPPG with a salary of $7,900. overall for the season he’s averaging 34.8. in the first meeting of the season, Collins finished the game with 45.0 DK points.
And 1: Markieff Morris (Vs. Dallas)
Morris has salary of $5,100 and, is averaging 23.3 FPPG in 26 minutes so far this year. In the previous meeting with Atlanta Morris ended up with 23.0 DK points.
Airball: Trey Lyles (@ Denver)
Lyles is averaging 19.7 FPPG with a salary costing $4,200. The Mavericks are 9th in OPRK verse SF/PFs, I know Lyles has dropped down just a bit in his last ten games averaging 19.3 FPPG over that span. I am not a fan of this play for tonight.
Honorable Mentions: Mason Plumlee ($5,400), Harrison Barnes ($5,400), Sam Dekker ($3,800)
Center:
Shoot: Nikola Jokic
Is there really an explantion to this one? On a night with little depth. Jokic is averaging 45.8 FPPG so far this season, over his past ten he’s at 47.8. His salary is $9,800, He has been one of the top center fantasy wise and non fantasy this season.
And 1: JaVale McGee
McGee is averaging 27.4 FPPG and has a salary of $4,700. He is putting these numbers in just 23.6 minutes a game. He also has a very favorable match up going up against the Lakers who rank 30th in OPRK vs. Centers
Airball: Myles Turner
With a salary priced at $7,000, Turner is averaging 29.3 FPPG. However, in his last meeting with the Cavaliers Turner, only had 24.0. I expect Turner to have another tough night as the Cavs are ranked 2nd in OPRK against Centers.
Honorable Mentions: Jarrett Allen ($5,500), Dewayne Dedmon ($5,600) Tyson Chandler ($3,700)
