NBA DraftKings DFS Values | 12/20/17
What’s up, GF2 fans! I’m back at it again this season bringing you guys some solid NBA values for the Wednesday night slate of games! This slate will consist of a nice 12-game schedule to play with. Each week the majority of my value plays will be at or under the $6,000 price range. Let’s get this DFS party started!
Point Guard
Jamal Murray vs. MIN ($5,700)
This could be a very fun game to target for this slate! So far this season, the Wolves rank 21st overall at defending against opposing point guards. This year, Murray has managed to average a cool 24.4 FPPG for his loyal owners. In three of his last four outings, Murray has scored 32+ FP for the Nuggets. This season, he’s averaging 14.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game for Denver.
Austin Rivers vs. PHO ($5,700)
The Clippers are truly running out of solid offensive weapons in their lineup so I’m on board with rolling Rivers out for you lineups on Wednesday night. So far in 2017, Rivers has managed to average a solid 25.6 FPPG for his owners. This season, he’s averaging 14.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per outing for Los Angeles. This year, the Suns rank 19th overall at defending against opposing point guards.
Shooting Guard
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope @ HOU ($5,900)
This should be an up-tempo matchup that a lot of fantasy players will be targeting for this slate of games. So far this season, the Rockets rank 11th overall at defending against opposing shooting guards. This year, Caldwell-Pope has managed to average a consistent 28.3 FPPG for his loyal owners. Over his last two outings, he’s scored 34+ FP for the Lakers.
Eric Gordon vs. LAL ($4,900)
Like I said above, I love both sides of this matchup for this slate of games! So far this year, the Lakers rank 22nd overall at defending against opposing shooting guards. This season, Gordon has managed to average a super solid 27.2 FPPG for his loyal owners. In 2017, Gordon has averaged 19.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game for the Rockets. I could easily see him getting hot from behind the arc on Wednesday!
Small Forward
Nicolas Batum vs. TOR ($5,700)
Batum is slowly starting to get into the groove following his injury and now draws a nice matchup for Wednesday night. So far this year, the Raptors rank 23rd overall at defending against opposing small forwards. This season, Batum has managed to average a nice 25.5 FPPG for his owners. Over his last three outings, Batum has eclipsed 27+ FP for the Hornets.

Justin Holiday vs. ORL ($5,200)
I’m not a big advocate of using any of the Chicago players but for this slate a few have peaked my interest. So far this season, Holiday has managed to average a beautiful 27.2 FPPG for his owners and draws a great matchup for this slate. This year, the Magic rank 24th overall at defending against opposing small forwards. In 2017, Holiday has averaged 13.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game for the Bulls.
Power Forward
Alex Len @ LAC ($5,600)
I really like when I see the Suns properly utilizing their young big man! Over his last three outings, Len has scored 31+ FP for Phoenix and draws a juicy matchup for this slate of games. So far this season, the Clippers rank 27th overall at defending against opposing power forwards. This year, Len has averaged 9.3 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game for the Suns.
Willie Cauley-Stein @ BKN ($5,400)
I’m not a huge fan of very many value options for this slate at power forward but this guy could easily post 6x value in this matchup. So far this season, Cauley-Stein has managed to average a decent 23.4 FPPG for his owners. This year, he’s averaging 10.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game for the Kings. This season, the Nets rank 29th overall defending against opposing power forwards.
Center
Robin Lopez vs. ORL ($4,700)Â
I could see Lopez flourishing as a value option for this slate of games against a weak Orlando post defense. So far this year, the Magic rank 22nd overall at defending against opposing centers. This season, Lopez has managed to average a cool 24.6 FPPG for his loyal owners. In two of his last three games, Lopez has scored 29+ FP for Chicago and will be in my lineups for this slate.
Greg Monroe @ LAC ($4,500)
Monroe has been hovering around 26 minutes per game for Phoenix as of late and draws a nice matchup for this slate. So far this season, the Clippers rank 27th overall at defending against opposing centers. In four of his last six outings, Monroe has scored 32+ FP for the Suns. This year, he’s averaging 10.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game for Phoenix.
