NBA Fanduel Lineup and Advice 2/24/15
Update Looks like Curry will play tonight, I don’t like Klay as much now. I’m posting an alternative LU, but either lineup is viable.
Ouch, last night hurt. My Fanduel lineup ended up missing the cut line in all my games. It’s what I get for not doing my due diligence in my research. Won’t let that happen again. Only one thing to do, get over it and move on to the next day.
An ugly 4 game slate on the docket for tonight. I’m not going to have a ton to write about for this slate of games. Doing a Top Ten would be pointless, so I’ll do a quick Dunks and Passes, and then I’ll post my lineup with some more analysis.
Check out today’s Cost Versus Production Chart:
DUNKS
- PG Reggie Jackson $4400Â He will be near 100% owned tonight, or at least it’ll seem that way. He got 30 minutes in his first game for Detroit. He should see similar minutes tonight in a good matchup with the Cavs.
- SG Rodney Stuckey $5100Â Two 40 Fanduel Point nights in your last 2 games will get you noticed. Not sure if he gives you 40 again, but at $5100, you’ll take anything over 25.
- SG JR Smith $5300Â Smith is like a Big Screen TV at Best Buy on Black Friday, here one minute gone the next. He is hot right now, scoring 31 Fanduel Points in his last 2 games. Get him before he is gone again.
- SF CJ Miles $4700Â Not sure if I would trust him most nights, but with a 4 game slate, you’re going to have to take some fliers. Put up 26 Fanduel Points the last 2 games, and he’ll only cost you $4700.
- SF James Johnson $4500Â Johnson came back to earth last night in New Orleans, after his 47 Fanduel Point explosion the game before. At $4500 though, if earth is 23 Fanduel Points, then he is still above his baseline of 20.
There is nothing of value at PF or C, so you may want to spend a little at these positions.
Passes
- PG John Wall $9100Â He was on this list last night, and it proved to be a good prediction. He is way over-priced right now. He hasn’t broken the 40 Fanduel Point plateau since February 4th, eight games ago! At $9100, his baseline is 40, which is the least amount you should expect to get out of him at that price, not to mention the bad matchup with Golden State.
- SG DeMar DeRozan $6700Â DeDe has had 2 back to back bad games, and Dallas is ranked high on defense versus the shooting guard position. Though, honestly I’m not sure why? Ellis doesn’t play defense, but a stat is a stat. I’m avoiding DeDe tonight.
PF Kevin LoveOk Ok, he had a good game in New York, I’ll give him a break tonight.- PF David West $6700 Â I said he was playing at an elite level a few nights ago, and he has since put up two 18 point games, not loving him tonight.
- C Tyson Chandler $6500Â 3 straight below baseline games will get you put on this list. Not a lot to choose from at center tonight, so either pay up for Drummond or take you’re chances. Kanter could be good as well I guess.
I won’t be playing any cash games with my lineup tonight. Four game slates are just too hard with everyone having the same lineup. I’ll throw this lineup in a GPP and just hope my fliers fly….

Today’s Starting 9
**Assumes Curry is not playing, subject to change
If you check out my CVP Chart for today, you’ll see I have 5 of the top 7 guys in my lineup. If we get that type of production from all 5 tonight, and the studs; Westbrook, Thompson, and James, do their normal thing, this lineup will be golden. Unfortunately, passed performance doesn’t doesn’t guarantee future gain. Lets hope they all can give us just one more night of production.

Alternative Lineup: You have options at SF. I’m going Miles cause I think he’ll have low ownership, but you can go James Johnson, Iggy, Aminu, or Barnes.
