NFL DFS FanDuel GPP Plays for Week 15
Welcome to the Week 15 edition of the NFL DFS FanDuel GPP plays. This article will focus on the main slate on FanDuel, which features 13 games this week. Just as a reminder, this article is not meant to be an actual FanDuel GPP lineup, but rather an article focusing on some good stand alone options for your GPP lineup. Let’s go ahead and take a look at my favorite GPP options for Week 15.
NFL DFS FanDuel GPP Plays for Week 15
DailyFantasyNerd FanDuel GPP Play of the Day
Latavius Murray (OAK) @ SD $6,800
After several weeks of sharing the touches with about three other running backs, Latavius Murray has proven why he should be the workhorse in this offense. Murray has scored four touchdowns over the past three games and has had at least 22 touches in that same span. Derek Carr is still battling a finger injury, so the Raiders will likely continue to feed the ball to Murray. This week he has a great matchup against the Chargers, who have been awful against the run for a few seasons now. In another week where the chalk strategy will likely be to pay up at both running back spots, using Murray could be a great contrarian way to construct your GPP lineup.
Quarterback
Joe Flacco (BAL) vs. PHI $7,400
It is surprising to see, but Joe Flacco has the most passing attempts in the NFL this season. He has also done pretty well over the past two weeks with a total of six touchdowns and over 700 passing yards. This week he has a solid matchup against the Eagles, who have a pretty weak secondary. Flacco should be pretty low owned this week, making him a sneaky GPP option.
Running Backs
Devonta Freeman (ATL) vs. SF $7,700
Devonta Freeman had arguably his worst game since becoming the starting running back for the Falcons in 2015. What is odd about his performance (or lack thereof), is that the game flow was scripted perfectly for him to have quite a bit of success since the Falcons got out to a pretty large lead early in the game. This week he should be able to bounce back in a huge way in a great matchup against the 49ers, who have allowed 4.9 yards per attempt.
Ezekiel Elliott (DAL) vs. TB $8,500
If you look back to last week you may think that I’m simply just copy and pasting this portion of my article. However, I am going right back to well again with Ezekiel Elliott in GPPs. I believe that he will be less chalky than David Johnson, Le’Veon Bell and LeSean McCoy despite being $500 to $1,300 cheaper than those three. He has just as much upside as those other three and he is due to have a huge game.
Wide Receivers
Mike Wallace (BAL) vs. PHI $5,900
The Eagles have been terrible in the secondary this season and they have been particularly vulnerable to the deep ball as shown by DeSean Jackson last week. Therefore, Mike Wallace makes for a sneaky GPP option this week since he is always a threat to take the top off of the defense and Joe Flacco is one of the best deep ball passers in the league.

Dez Bryant (DAL) vs. TB $7,500
Dez Bryant did not have a good game against the Giants last Sunday night with only one reception for 10 yards that resulted in a lost fumble. I’m going to just chalk it up to the cold temperatures since neither offense was able to do that much in that game. Dez does have a difficult individual matchup against Caleb Grimes, but he is still an elite wide receiver and does possess the upside needed to launch your GPP entry up the leaderboards.
Stefon Diggs (MIN) vs. IND $6,300
It has been a few weeks since Stefon Diggs has been on our radar, but that is probably due to having some difficult matchups over the past few weeks. This week he has an excellent matchup against the Colts’ secondary and despite name recognition, Vontae Davis has not been a good coverage cornerback at all this season.
Tight End
Cameron Brate (TB) @ DAL $5,800
Cameron Brate and the rest of the Buccaneers offense disappointed last week in what was expected to be a shootout against the Saints. Brate should be able to bounce back this week in a great matchup against the Cowboys, who rank 24th against opposing tight ends this season.
Defense
Chiefs (KC) vs. TEN $4,500
Somehow I believe that the Chiefs will come in at low ownership this week and if that is the case, it would be a great idea to pounce on it. The Chiefs’ defense and special teams have made it a habit to find the end zone lately, with a score in four out of their last five games. Marcus Mariota has been better this season. However, a trip to Arrowhead Stadium will not be an easy task.
