NFL DFS Value Plays Week 6 | FanDuel
What’s up, GF2 fans! I’m back once again with my NFL DFS FanDuel value plays for Week 6. This week is shaping up to be an exciting one with plenty of great matchups to attack. In this article, I’m going to be covering Sunday’s main slate, so let’s get down to business.
NFL DFS FanDuel Value Plays for Week 6
Quarterbacks
Marcus Mariota (TEN) vs. CLE $7,600
Mariota hasn’t been the most consistent fantasy option this season but I’ve got a good feeling about him for Week 6. Thankfully, in the DFS world, it doesn’t matter how someone played two weeks ago, so that’s a plus. In 2016, Mariota has managed to average a cool 16.34 FanDuel points per game for the Titans. The Browns defense has been terrible this year, ranking 28th versus opposing quarterbacks, allowing 25.6 FP per contest.
Dak Prescott (DAL) @ GB $7,200
The Cowboys do indeed have a potential quarterback controversy on their hands this year. Prescott has been brilliant for them and has increasingly got better each week. So far this year, he has averaged a super solid 17.54 FanDuel points per outing for his owners and draws a fun matchup for Sunday. The Packers secondary has been lackluster thus far in 2016 and Dak will take advantage of them this weekend. This year, Green Bay ranks 21st versus opposing quarterbacks, giving up 22.2 FP per game.
Running Backs
Mark Ingram (NO) vs. CAR $6,700
Ingram is always a safe bet for us avid fantasy players. Well, this year, he hasn’t eclipsed 100 yards rushing but does continue to produce, regardless. Over his last two games, Ingram has managed to score 19.5+ FanDuel points per contest and does have a decent matchup for Sunday. The Panthers aren’t a terrible defense but they haven’t been anywhere near what they were last season. In 2016, Ingram has averaged 4.1 YPC and will hopefully run wild against Carolina this week.
Jonathan Stewart (CAR) @ NO $6,300
Stewart is finally healthy and draws an extra tasty matchup for Sunday! The Saints defense is easily one of the worst in the league, so he’ll feast on this week. So far this year, New Orleans ranks 32nd at defending against opposing running backs, allowing an average of 30.9 FP per outing. I’m expecting a relatively high scoring game here, so you’ll want some exposure to it for this slate.
Wide Receivers
Randall Cobb (GB) vs. DAL $7,000
Yes, Cobb showed up on Green Bay’s injury report this week but I’m not worried. I fully expect him to play on Sunday against a surprisingly stout Dallas defense. This season, the Cowboys actually rank 12th versus opposing wide receivers, allowing just 22.3 FP per outing. Well, luckily for Cobb, Dallas always shuts down a team’s Number 1 option. Coming out of the slot, Cobb should have an ultra-productive game for Week 6.
DailyFantasyNerd FanDuel Value Play of the Day
Jeremy Maclin (KC) @ OAK $6,900

I love both Maclin and his price tag for Week 6! He’s been a bit underwhelming so far this year, averaging just 10.07 FanDuel points per game for the Chiefs. Luckily for Maclin, the Raiders rank 32nd versus opposing wideouts, giving up 30.6 FP per game to the position. With Alex Smith attempting an average of 42 passes per game, Maclin should eventually see much better production. He’s already receiving 9.3 targets per game, so the fantasy points will come very soon.
Tight Ends
Delanie Walker (TEN) vs. CLE $6,700
I was glad to see Walker healthy and back in Tennessee’s lineup last Sunday. He really paid off for his owners, reeling in a touchdown grab. This weekend, Walker will take on an atrocious Browns defense that hasn’t stop anyone yet. In 2016, Cleveland ranks 32nd versus opposing tight ends, giving up an average of 16.0 FP per game. Pair Walker with Mariota and you should be good to go for Week 6.
Coby Fleener (NO) vs. CAR $5,600
Yes, Fleener hasn’t been near as explosive in New Orleans as I’d hoped but big good things could be coming. Drew Brees has had an extra week to prepare for this game and will be slinging the ball all over the field for this slate. This year, the Panthers rank 27th versus opposing tight ends, allowing 11.0 FP per contest to the position. I’m expecting a shootout in New Orleans and Fleener could be in store for a monster game.
Defense
NE vs. CIN $4,700
The Patriots defense hasn’t been a fantasy juggernaut this year but they’re consistent. They’ll mostly focus on shutting A.J. Green down, which will cause a ton of problems for this Bengals offense. New England’s defense has averaged a smooth 8.4 FanDuel points per game this year, which is plenty good in my book.
KC @ OAK $4,600
The Chiefs defense has the ability to rack up a monster fantasy day. Just look at their game from a few weeks ago against the Jets. I don’t think they’ll repeat that performance but will be a suitable streaming option for Sunday. Averaging a super solid 10.25 FanDuel points per game is exactly what I like out of my defenses for DFS!
