NFL DFS Value Plays Week 7 | FanDuel
What’s up, GF2 fans! I’m back once again with my free NFL DFS value plays for Week 7. I’m expecting a ton of lower-priced guys to really do some damage for our lineups this week. Like always, I’m going to be covering Sunday’s main slate, so let’s get down to business.
NFL DFS FanDuel Value Plays for Week 7
Quarterbacks
Blake Bortles (JAC) vs. OAK $7,400
Bortles isn’t the league’s most accurate quarterback but he can score a ton of fantasy points with the right matchup. So far this year, he has managed to average a cool 17.77 FanDuel points per outing for his owners and draws a killer matchup for Week 7. This season, the Raiders rank 32nd overall versus the pass, allowing 25.9 FP per game to opposing quarterbacks. A few weeks ago, Bortles played a similar defense in the Colts and destroyed them for 25.9 FD points.
Alex Smith (KC) vs. NO $7,200
Smith isn’t an ideal fantasy football quarterback but this matchup can’t be denied. He’ll be taking on quite possibly the worst defense in football when he takes on the Saints. This year, New Orleans ranks 31st versus opposing quarterbacks, allowing 23.2 FP per outing to the position. Smith throws the ball a ton for the Chiefs and will, hopefully, guide us to victory this week.
Running Backs
Isaiah Crowell, (CLE) @ CIN $6,400
Crowell is an under the radar fantasy option for this weekend due to his poor play over the last few weeks. His last two games against the Titans and Patriots just weren’t great matchups for running backs. So far this year Crowell has managed to average a solid 12.47 FanDuel points per game for his owners. This season, the Bengals rank 20th versus the run, allowing an average of 20.4 FP per outing to running backs.
DailyFantasyNerd FanDuel Value Play of the Day
Jacquizz Rodgers, (TB) @ SF $5,700
By his volume alone, Rodgers will a stellar play for this weekend! In his first game started this season, he rushed the ball 30 times for 101 yards. Rodgers also caught five passes on six targets for 28 yards that week, totaling 15.4 FanDuel points. In 2016, the 49ers haven’t been great on the defensive side of the ball, ranking 32nd overall versus the rush. With both Doug Martin and Charles Sims out of the picture, Rodgers is in store for a monster day.
Wide Receivers
Jeremy Maclin, (KC) vs. NO ($6,800)
Maclin has been one of the most disappointing fantasy players so far this season. He’s only managed to average a moderate 9.34 FanDuel points per game for Kansas City, which puzzles me. With the amounts of targets that Maclin receives weekly, he should be crushing it for our lineups. Well, luckily for us, he’ll face off against a Saints squad that allows an average of 26.0 FP per outing to wideouts this year.
Brandon LaFell, (CIN) vs. CLE $5,700

LaFell has been a quality value play over the last few weeks, catching three touchdowns. He’ll be taking on a lackluster Browns defense that ranks 20th versus opposing wideouts, giving up 25.3 FP per outing to the position. With Joe Haden most likely shadowing A.J. Green, LaFell should have plenty of opportunities to score his owners some points for Week 7.
Tight Ends
Hunter Henry, (SD) @ ATL $5,800
With Antonio Gates still banged up, Henry has been a massive weekly play! Over his last three games, he has scored a touchdown and eclipsed 14+ FanDuel points for the Chargers. So far this season, the Falcons rank 29th against opposing tight ends, allowing 12.3 FP per game to the position. I’m expecting a high-scoring game in Atlanta, so you’ll want plenty of exposure to it.
Cameron Brate, (TB) @ SF $5,200
I’m hoping Tampa Bay has the same kind of offensive success that the Bills did against the Niners on Sunday. Brate has found himself with the starting spot in this young Buccaneers lineup. This year, he has averaged a smooth 8.04 FanDuel points per game for his owners and will be a solid play this weekend.
Defense
ARI vs. SEA $4,700
This game could easily be a defensive showdown on Sunday! The Cardinals have been one of the best fantasy defenses this year and should be a nice option for this slate. So far this season, Arizona’s defense has managed to average 11.5 FanDuel points per game.
NE @ PIT $4,400
This game could get out of hand really fast with Ben Ben now on the shelf following knee surgery. Yes, Le’Veon Bell will still be a factor but will have a tough time against a potential stacked box. Landry Jones is a terrible quarterback and New England will dominate the Steelers on Sunday.
