NFL Week 4 FanDuel Value Picks
We saw a Week 3 in the NFL that treated our picks quite well with 6 of the 10 hitting at least 2.5x value (and two going above 3x). WR Nelson Agholor led the way last week for us getting 19 FDP’s at only $4,800. That was good enough for 4x value! We look to keep our hot streak alive heading into Week 4.
Quarterback:
Matthew Stafford vs KC ($6,900) – Make sure to double-check Stafford’s status close to game time. He is currently Questionable with back issues. However, if he is good to go, fire him up against a mediocre Chiefs defense at this price point. The Lions are going to have to put up BIG numbers offensively if they want to have a chance to hang with the high powered Chiefs offense. Stafford will have to be the one to lead the way, as he did in week 1 putting up 27.6 FDP’s against a bad Arizona defense. The Chiefs will be a tougher task for Stafford, but needing just over 20 points to hit triple value, I think he has a great chance to do so.
Daniel Jones vs WAS ($7,300) – The world saw Jones make his debut last week and he did not disappoint. He led the lowly Giants (without Saquon Barkley) to an 18 point comeback on the road in Tampa Bay. He put up 34.24 FDP’s in the process. After another week of practice under his belt, Jones and the Giants will be hosting a Redskins team who are really struggling defensively this season. They rank T-30th in points allowed giving up 31.3 points per game. They also rank 26th in total yards per game allowed giving up 403 yards per game. Look for Daniel Jones to feast once again against a much worse defense that he faced last week.
Running Back:
Adrian Peterson @ NYG ($5,500) – Peterson will be heading into week 4 looking to turn things around this season. AP has only put up 62 yards on the ground through two games. He has received 10 and 12 carries in each game he has played though (compared to backup Chris Thompson’s 9 total carries). This week he faces off against the New York Giants 31st ranked defense. Look for Peterson to get right and find the end zone this week in a great matchup for the seemingly never aging veteran.
Todd Gurley vs TB ($6,800) – It’s been quite some time since we have seen Gurley with a sub-$7K price tag. Gurley is off to a slow start but last week he received 82% of the teams carries, which is a positive sign for the future. It’s no secret that McVeigh wants to protect his stud RB at all costs, but I see Gurley finding the end zone multiple times in Week 4 to a Buccaneers team that has given up nearly 26 points per game this season.
Wide Reciever:
Hollywood Brown vs CLE ($5,700) – Hollywood will look to get back on track after a disappointing 5.9 FDP performance last week against the Chiefs. Brown is getting an average of 9 targets per game and with his explosive speed and quickness, 9 targets are plenty to produce a monster stat line. He will have a decent matchup against a reeling Browns team who rank right about the middle of the pack defensively.
Terry McLaurin @ NYG ($6,300) – McLaurin has yet to not score a touchdown in any game he has played thus far in his career. An early candidate for rookie of the year, McLaurin will have a great matchup against the leagues worst defensive team against the pass, the New York Giants. Clearly the #1 option in the passing game for the Redskins, “Scary Terry” will look to continue his TD streak in week 4.

Tight End:
Mike Gesicki vs LAC ($4,600) – The second-year tight end will look to get an increased number of targets this week as injuries have sidelined WR’s Albert Wilson & Allen Hurns. Gesicki has yet to have a breakthrough game in his career, so treat this as a deep shot play, however, he has a decent matchup against a Chargers D who has been very average this season. Combine that with the increased opportunity due to injuries, and Gesicki could manage to show the world his elite athleticism that got him drafted.
Will Dissly @ ARZ ($5,400) –Dissly burned me in week 1, however, since then he has gone on to produce 19.5 & 15.2 FDP’s consecutively. This week he has a matchup against the Cardinals who are among the leagues worst when it comes to guarding the tight end position. Russell Wilson’s chemistry has clearly grown with his tight end and I’m sure he will look to take advantage of this mismatch on Sunday.
Defense:
LA Rams vs TB ($4,300) – The Rams host Tampa Bay and turnover happy QB Jameis Winston on Sunday in LA. The Bucs rank 27th in the league when it comes to protecting the QB and the Rams may just have the best player in football on the defensive line in Aaron Donald. The Rams should have no problems recording multiple sacks and getting one or two takeaways in the process.
