NFL Week 5 Fanduel Cash Game Picks

Quarterback

Patrick Mahomes vs Raiders ($9,000)

NFL DFS Week 5 Fanduel Cash Game Picks

Patrick Mahomes is spendy and he should be, but facing The Raiders at home with a 56 total has me interested. The Las Vegas Raiders best defensive game this season they gave up 24 points to The Saints. The Chiefs offense is incredible and can score in a heartbeat. I expect to see a ton of points in this one, I’ll take 30+ fantasy points from my Quarterback without chasing Teddy Bridgewater, who will be the popular pick.

Running Backs

Mike Davis vs The Falcons ($6,800)

Mike Davis is an absolute bull. He is involved in both the rushing and receiving game, much like Christian McCaffery was. Now he gets a great match-up against Atlanta which ranks 22nd versus the Running Back position. Mike has not only been solid but also very consistent, which makes him a staple in a cash game format.

Todd Gurley vs The Panthers ($6,700)

This is a Fanduel only play. Draftkings players should look elsewhere. On a site like Fanduel which is much more touchdown dependant, I’m in on Gurley. Gurley has 4 touchdowns in 4 weeks, Carolina ranks 31st against the Running Back position. Many people played Drake last week for the same reason Carolina can’t defend Running Backs, but Gurley is one that seems to find the end zone and always has.

Wide Receivers

Tyreke Hill vs Raiders ($8,200)

If you want to use the hefty price tag on Zeke Elliot I wouldn’t blame you. Zeke will be popular and he should be. One thing I’ve always stated is pairing your Wide Receiver with your Quarterback and that’s exactly what I’m doing here with Mahomes and Hill. The Raiders Defense is very bad and with the huge Vegas total, give me the speedster in Hill. Hill has scored a touchdown every week so far and I see no reason why he can’t continue that. Las Vegas ranks 15th against the Wide Receiver position.

Robby Anderson vs The Falcons ($6,200)

In case you missed it Robby Anderson went to Carolina this offseason. Atlanta ranks 23rd versus the Wide Receiver position. This one is all match-up and targets for me. Robby Anderson has 34 targets over 4 weeks, that’s over 8 targets per week giving him a very solid floor and that’s exactly what we want in cash.

Tight-End

Evan Engram vs The Cowboys ($5,500)

Engram has been a disappointment this season, trust me I fully understand as I had him on one of my season-long teams. I get it if you don’t like this one. Hear me out though, all of The Giants match-ups have been in the top half versus the Tight-End position. Engram saw 10 targets last week, which is pretty insane for a Tight-End. Dallas ranks 26th versus the position.

Defense

Dallas Cowboys vs The Giants ($3,500)

Am I crazy? Yes a little bit. The Giants are bad, really bad. The Cowboys defense is god awful don’t get me wrong, but for $3,500 against a really bad team I’m in. Defense is a crap shoot anyways so why not pay down here and hope they don’t give up 49 again. The Giants have the 2nd worse offense in the NFL and the Cowboys defense has been getting blasted publicly for 4 weeks now. I think we see some pride this week from the defensive side.
