NFL Week 6 FanDuel Value Picks

After another successful week, we are now hitting 35% of our picks at 2.5x value or better. Last week we saw both QB’s Brady & Murray hit for well over 3x value, as well as David Johnson and the Patriots D/ST checking in at over 2.5x value. Week 6 is here, and we’re ready to keep on rolling.

Quarterback:

Case Keenum @ MIA ($6,500) – Keenum comes in near the bottom of the barrel price-wise for starting quarterbacks this week. However, he may have the best matchup. The Dolphin’s defense has been historically bad on their quest known as “Tank-for-Tua”. Back in week 1, Keenum put up a 27.2 FDP performance on the road against the Eagles (who currently rank 10th defensively). Don’t be surprised if he has another big game this week.

Kyler Murray vs ATL ($7,700) – I’m going back to the well that is Kyler Murray as he hit over 3x value for me last week with 25.42 FDP’s on the road in Cincinnati. In week 6 he returns home to face off against a struggling Flacons squad who rank in the bottom third of the league defensively. I expect a high usage rate from the number one overall pick this week and for Kyler to hit that 23 FDP mark.

 Running Back:

Malcolm Brown vs SF ($4,800) – With news out that Gurley will be inactive this week, Malcolm Brown looks to lead the Rams backfield. He has a tough task though as he will be facing off against a 49ers defense who rank in the top 5.The volume should be there for him and needing just over 14 FDP’s for 3x value, I think Brown could be a great play to help spend big elsewhere.

Adrian Peterson @ MIA ($5,300) – Peterson has already burnt me once this season (see past article) however I’m giving him another chance this week against the previously mentioned, historically bad Dolphins defense. Having gotten interim head coach Bill Callahan’s blessing for more touches this week, look for AP to be the bell cow in Miami.

Larry Fitzgerald vs ATL ($5,600) – Fitz also has a great matchup this week against a Flacons defense who just allowed 55 points to Will Fuller and the Texans offense last week. He needs just over 16.5 FDP’s to hit our 3x value mark. Should Christian Kirk not be able to go, (currently a game time decision) fire up Fitz in all formats.

Will Fuller @ KC ($6,600) – Don’t expect another 40+ point performance this week, but do expect another big day for Will Fuller. He gets a great matchup in what’s sure to be one of the higher scoring games of the year. Although he will likely be highly owned, his matchup and price make it tough to pass him up.

Tight End:

Austin Hooper @ ARZ ($6,600) –  Hooper will likely be the chalk play of the week at the tight end position, however, I think he has too good of an opportunity to pass up. The Cardinals defense has been atrocious this season against tight ends and Hooper has been among the leagues best. Plug him in and don’t think twice.

Defense:

New Orleans Saints ($4,000) @ JAX – The Saints D/ST has been among the leagues best all season, and they have had no easy schedule. This week they head to Jacksonville to take on yet another offense who ranks inside the top 10. The Saints are used to facing good teams though, and I believe they will be able to cause rookie-sensation, Gardner Minshew, some trouble.
