Rookies that will win you Week 11
Welcome to Week 11! The fantasy trade deadline for most leagues has come and gone, and the playoffs are on the horizon. Teams are looking to lock in consistent producers that they can trust of the playoffs, which this year is super hard to find. Injuries have crushed many a fantasy team, as some huge names have gone down. Into this void stepped up a plethora of rookies, ready to shoulder the scoring burden for your squad. This week we will take a look at some surprising names, as well as a couple of old reliables that you should snatch up if you can. Good Luck.
QB
Joe Burrow, BengalsĀ
Burrow completed 21 of 40 passes for 213 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 against the Steelers. It was not his best game. That said, he has shown throughout the year that he is quite capable of bouncing back from a poor performance. The development of WR Tee Higgins has added another dimension to the already potent offense. If Joe Mixon can return to health sooner rather than later, and with a decent fantasy playoff schedule, Burrow can be a solid spot start if needed.
Tagovailoa completed 15 of 25 passes for 169 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Dolphins’ 29-21 win over the Chargers on Sunday. The Dolphins have done a good job at managing the playcalling so Tua does not get overwhelmed. Tagovailoa connected with Jakeem Grant and Durham Smythe for his pair of passing touchdowns, boosting him to a stellar 5:0 TD: INT ratio over his first two starts. Look for that to continue, as Miami has been heating up the past couple of weeks.
RB
Salvon Ahmed, Dolphins
Ahmed rushed 21 times for 85 yards and a touchdown and brought in his only target for five yards in the Dolphins’ 29-21 win over the Chargers on Sunday. The rookie from Washington earned himself some increased playing time after a decent showing a week ago, he responded beautifully and has some intrigue for the rest of the season. the release of RB Jordan Howard sends crystal clear signs that Ahmed has a shot in the backfield. The graveyard that is RB in fantasy means Ahmed could be that FA pickup that leads you to a title.
D’Andre Swift, Lions
Swift logged 16 carries for 81 yards while catching all five of his targets for 68 yards and a touchdown during Sunday’s 30-27 win over Washington. In his first career start, Swift handled 21 touches compared to six between Adrian Peterson and Kerryon Johnson combined. It only too k10 weeks for the Lions coaching staff to realize maybe they should play Swift over the fossilized remains of Adrian Peterson. While there is no guarantee if Swift can handle this kind of workload for the rest of the year, he will be invaluable to your squad.
WR
Higgins recorded seven receptions on nine targets for 115 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 against the Steelers. The rookie continued his impressive season, surpassing 100 yards for the second time in his last four games. His rapport with the aforementioned Joe Burrow increases weekly, and the coaching staff must be quite pleased with the rookie. his consistent production should earn him a spot at least as a flex play in your starting lineup.

Michael Pittman Jr, Colts
In his Week 10 game, Pittman finished with 7 receptions on 8 targets, had 101 yards, and added 1 carry for 21 yards. Fans rejoiced as Pittman finally delivered on the promise that had tantalized everyone since the NFL draft. The cycle of injuries in Indy means that Pittman should have a chance at a solid role from here on out. If he can take it, he might become a fantasy superstar.
