SMITE God Review- ANUBIS
Hello and Welcome SMITE fans, and welcome to the SMITE God Review for Anubis. Anubis is a very powerful Mage if positioned right. Most beginners will play Anubis in the Mid Lane, but Anubis is very capable in the Solo Lane. Lets take a look at Anubis’ kit and see why he is so powerful and why exactly he can be played in many different roles!
All of Anubis’ abilities steal Physical and Magical Protection from the target and he gains increased Scaling to his item-based Magical Lifesteal. In addition, Sorrow grants Anubis an additional 30% reduction to all Crowd Control durations.
AbilityPoints will be awarded (out of 100) for every ability. Each ability can have a maximum score of 20.: Buff/Debuff Stolen per Tick: 7
Magical Lifesteal Scaling per Stack: (pexistspprop1026/0.33/#/ +33% of your lifesteal)
Duration: 5s Max Stacks: 3
REASONS-
- This Passive is why Anubis is pretty well suited for the Solo Lane.
-
It gives Anubis some way to stand his ground when he is casting an ability or is very low on health.
Plague of Locusts (Ability 1)
A plague of locusts bellows forth from Anubis’ mouth, smothering all enemies in the area and doing damage every .5s for 3s. Anubis is immune to knockback while channeling. Ability: Cone Cost: 60/70/80/90/100 Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11s Damage per Tick: 35/50/65/80/95 (+40% of your magical power)

- This ability, when Anubis has the Damage Buff in the early game, can get the whole Minion Wave with this one ability.
-
This ability is what Anubis uses to secure kills and contribute in a Team Fight.
Mummify (Ability 2)
Anubis fires a bandage projectile, mummifying and stunning his target. Ability: Projectile Cost: 60 Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14s Stun Duration: 1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8/2s
REASONS-
- This ability is what a good Anubis should be using to secure his kills. This stun puts the enemy target very out of place, which sets them up for all of Anubis’ very high damage abilities.
Grasping Hands (Ability 3)
Anubis calls for help from the underworld as hands penetrate the ground and claw at his enemies, doing damage and Slowing every .5s for 2s. Ability: Ground Target Radius: 20 Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11s Damage per Tick: 25/40/55/70/85 (+35% of your Magical Power) Slow: 25%
REASONS-
- This ability is Anubis’ main poke potential. This slow may not look very good, but it actually impacts the enemy greatly, as, if they get stunned on top of the Grasping Hands, The enemy will take damage from the ability, and, while that is going on, Anubis can use his Ability 1, or Ultimate.
Death Gaze (Ultimate Ability)
Anubis focuses all of his energy into a piercing gaze, doing damage to all enemies in the path, every 0.1 seconds for 3 seconds. Ability: Line Cost: 90 Cooldown: 90/85/80/75/70s Damage per Tick: 23/28/33/38/43 (+15% of your magical power)
REASONS-
- This ability can take a squishy god to a maximum of a quarter of a health. It can take an average guardian to half a health.
-
This ability, if paired with any kind of cripple, stun, silence etc. can devastate the enemy team.
-
IT DOES FREAKING HUGE DAMAGE!!!
