The 10 Best Rookies for Fantasy in Week 12
Happy Thanksgiving! This holiday season, we can be thankful for a great rookie class. We can also be thankful for some great Week 12 matchups for a few rookies who need to be in your starting lineups.
1.) Ja’Marr Chase
A fourth-quarter touchdown saved Ja’Marr Chase’s fantasy day in Week 11. Despite a lackluster few weeks, Chase remains a must-start fantasy option. He could have a tough time against a stingy Steelers defense. Let’s hope he can find the endzone twice again this week as he did in Week 3 in Pittsburgh.
Advice: START
2.) Najee Harris
Najee Harris’ usage is just too good to ignore. He even got clocked in the head, missed some time, and still played 75% of the snaps against the Chargers. While Harris did see his fewest carries (12) since Week 2, he still scored a touchdown and hauled in five catches. The Bengals give up the 10th most fantasy points per game to running backs, and they’re up next for Pittsburgh.
Advice: START
3.) Elijah Moore
The ‘Elijah Moore Breakout’ continues, and it’s a ton of fun. The speedy wideout has been on a hot streak. Moore just recorded his best game yet with an 8/141/1 line and a team-leading 11 targets. He’s scored 10+ PPR points in the five weeks since coming back from the bye week and 25+ points twice. Look for the party to keep going against a Texans’ defense that’s giving up 23.7 fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers.
Advice: START
4.) DeVonta Smith
The Eagles’ WR1 had a quiet fantasy day in Week 11, but that’s in large part because the Eagles ran the ball *50* times on Sunday. Tough to get much production from the receiving corp when you’re committed to the run. However, Philly has a divisional matchup against the Giants in Week 11, and DeVonta Smith will continue to operate as the team’s WR1.
Advice: START
5.) Jaylen Waddle
Jaylen Waddle’s Week 11 matchup isn’t great, but he’s Tua’s favorite target. Waddle has seen 8+ targets in five out of the last six weeks. Even against a tough Carolina secondary, Miami should be able to put the ball in Waddle’s hands. He’s a consistent WR3 start.
Advice: START
6.) Elijah Mitchell
If Elijah Mitchell can return from injury, this would be a fun game back for the 49ers feature back. The Vikings rush defense is mediocre, and they’ll have to pay close attention to Deebo Samuel.

Advice: START
7.) Rashod Bateman
If Lamar Jackson is back, so should Rashod Bateman. When we last left the duo, Bateman was busy hauling in four of his six receptions in the final seven minutes against the Dolphins. Jackson is looking his way, and so should we.
Advice: START
8.) Pat Freiermuth
The Muth! After a tough Week 10, Pat Freiermuth bounced back with four grabs and a touchdown. He’s now solidified himself as a critical piece of this Steelers’ offense.
Advice: START
9.) Javonte Williams
This is a matchup that favors every Denver running back, especially Javonte Williams. The Chargers have allowed the 2nd most rushing TDs to running backs (13) and the 4th most fantasy points per game (22.5). Williams makes for a nice FLEX start this week.
Advice: START
10.) Kyle Pitts
Kyle Pitts has found himself the focus of opposing defenses, and his stat line is showing it. Pitts hasn’t had more than four catches in four weeks and still hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 5, his only of the year. HOWEVER, Atlanta is playing Jacksonville this week, and he could bounce back.
Advice: START
**On the Bubble**
Mac Jones
The Patriots quarterback continues his effective and efficient play, but he’s not a great fantasy option. He still deserves to be mentioned here.
Advice: SIT
Michael Carter
